I sighed in frustration and gave up. Sean was suppose to come and pick me up at 8 so we could go to the movies, and it's 8:20! I'm not waiting any longer. Just when I started walking to the kitchen, I heard a knock on the door. I sighed and opened it. To my luck, Sean was standing there. "Hey. Sorry I'm late. We can still go if you want. It comes on again at 10:30." "Hi." I said, rolling my eyes. "It took ya long enough to get here, but frankly, I don't want to go anymore. I don't think I'm going to get ice cream with you tomorrow either." He looked shocked at my response, but quickly composed himself. I crossed my arms over my chest, waiting for him to say something. "Okay, I'll see you later then." "Bye Sean." I said, closing the door.
I honestly didn't want to go the movies with him and he was surprised that I was so straight forward with it.

I walked to the door and heard another knock. I opened it and Mason was standing there. "Hey Mase." He smiled. "Hey Vernie." "Come in." I said, stepping to the side so he could walk through.
We both sat on the couch. "So, was the movie good?" He asked. "I didn't go." He looked at me. "Why not?" I continued to look straight and said, "Sean came late and I told him I didn't want to go anymore and I also blew off the ice cream we were suppose to get together too." "My offer is still up." He said. I thought about it for a second. "What do you want to do tomorrow??" I asked. "How about you come over and we can watch movies and eat whatever we want? Sound good?" I nodded my head.
"Sounds great."

Me and Mason hung out and watched a few movies. Fast and Furious 5 just ended and we're just talking. "Where are your parents at?" He asked. "Work." I said simply. "Oh." There was a knock on the door. Ugh! Thus is the third time today! People need to leave me alone!!
I got up and opened the door. Sean was standing there. "Yes?" I asked. "Look, I really need to tell and ask you something and it can't wait any longer."
"Okay, ask away." I said crossing my arms over my chest..
