On The Run

Chapter 12

I was walking down the street to my house from school when I heard Sean call my name. I turned around and stopped. He caught up to me. "Yes Sean?" I really am not in the mood to talk. I want to go home and cuddle up in a ball and sleep.

"I came to change your mind." I looked at him; my eyebrows raised and said, "About?" He smiled, his face turning a light shade of pink. "For you to be my girlfriend." I rolled my eyes. I mean, I kinda like him but I don't want to date him right now. "Dude, my mind is made up. I don't want to be your girlfriend. I'm honestly not sorry." I shrugged and waited for his reply. He looked a little frustrated, but then smirked. "I don't think you want to do that. I have some very intriguing information that might not want to get around." I rolled my eyes. "Bye Sean!" I said cheerfully as I could and continued walking to my house. "Rebecca Simons." I turned around immediately. Hearing that name again gave me chills. "Ho-how do you kn-know that name?"  He smirked. No one should know that name. Just thinking about it my nails were digging into the skin on my hands.

"Oh, just some inside information. Don't worry."

I took a deep breath. "You're not black mailing me. Go ahead and tell the world about Rebecca Simons. It doesn't make a difference." I lied straight through my teeth, looking like I have no care in the world. To some extent I don't, but I don't wanna hear that name ever again

"Are you sure you want that name to get around?" He asked. If the name gets around, I don't know what's going to happen. "I couldn't care less." I say turning around on the heels of my feet. 

I heard him snicker and I roll my eyes. I'm not putting up with this. Not another town. To think that this town was okay.

I put my few pairs of clothes and accessories in my bookbag and put my shoes on. I need to say bye to Mase. He's the only one who actually was a friend. I would say bye to Sean just to tick him off, but why do that? I'm leaving anyway.
