I was hit with a beam of blinding light. I groaned annoyed shielding my face from the light with half open eyes.

I turned over expecting to find another nice comfy pillow but instead was met with the hard wooden floor.

“What the,” I opened my eyes wide this time to see that I was lying on a bed at all I was lying on Jay’s hard wooden floor.

Confused, I sat up aware that my hair was sticking up like I had been electrocuted. “Morning sunshine, someone had fun last night,” I heard Jayden’s mom’s voice welcome me in a chirpy voice.

I looked behind me to see her standing by the window with the curtains in her hands. I looked around the room and spotted Jay crashed out a few feet away from me.

I looked down at what he was wearing and couldn’t help but burst out laughing. He was indeed wearing my dress and heels, although one of them was half way across the room.

“Hey darling, you don’t look much better yourself,” Kelly said amused and I looked down at my outfit.

I was wearing his boxers and if I was correct the one’s he was wearing last night. I crossed my arms stubbornly and glared over to Jay’s sleeping body.

“Breakfast is in ten,” Kelly said walking past me and towards the door. “Oh and hun, you might want to take a look at your face,” She added before closing the door.

I gasped and touched my face, finding that I couldn’t feel anything. I rushed to the bathroom to look in the mirror.

And there was staring back at me a massive penis drawn each side of my face with noob written across my forehead.

Boy was he going to pay. I searched around the bathroom planning a prefect revenge when I noticed a bucket at the side of the bathroom under some loo role.

I then moved my eyes over to the tap and an evil grin formed on my face.

I snuck back in the room carefully trying not to spill the water in the bucket I was holding in my hands.

I made my way over to Jay a few water dropping onto the floor from my shaking hands.

I paused beside him and looked between him and the bucket of freezing cold water. Was I going too far?

Just as I was about to chicken out, Emily ran into the room and rushed into the back of me sending me flying over to Jay with a bucket full of water.

I screamed as everything went in slow motion. I threw the bucket of water in the air and fell down onto Jay.

He grunted and opened his eyes in surprise. “I’m so sorry,” I rushed out before freezing cold water crashed on top of both of us.

We both screamed in coldness as we both jumped up shaking from the cold. I looked over to Emily who was rolling on the floor laughing so hard she looked in pain.

I then looked over sheepishly to Jay who was glaring at me. “I said I was sorry,” I told him shyly shrugging.

“What were you even doing with a bucket of water?” He asked but then burst out laughing when his eyes flickered over to my forehead.

I frowned annoyed properly should of washed that off.  I slapped him playfully with a grin sneaking up on my face.

“And now you know why, princess,” I teased eyeing my pink bright dress on him. He flicked his wet hair out of his face and looked down at his clothing.

His eyes grew wide with shock as Emily continued to laugh. “All hale Princess Jayden,” I shouted doing a little bow.

He looked at me with a glare. “Shut up prince Laurence,” He said eyeing me up and down becoming aware of his boxers on me.

I blushed heavily unable to find a way to cover myself up without looking embarrassed. His eyes then became lustful.

“Can’t say I don’t approve, my clothes look good on you,” He said huskily which deepened my blush.

“Little sister,” I told him and he looked over to Emily wide eyed.

“She was the one who pushed me,” I told him which made Emily expression change into shock. Afraid of what her big brother would do.

“Was she now, shall we get her,” He whispered and I nodded, watching as Emily staggered out the room.

We ran as fast as we could after her leaving wet footprints behind us. In a short time I picked her up swiftly and hugged her tightly against my wet body.

She screamed and kicked as I got her wet. “Let go of me, Ren,” She screamed.

“Ok,” I said letting her slip through my hands causing her scream but soon enough I caught her again a few inches from the ground.

“Breakfast,” Kelly shouted from the kitchen and Emily got out of my arms.

I looked over to Jayden who was looking at me the same way he had yesterday, he met my eye and I shrugged.

He gave me a smile and we all walked into the kitchen. All of us looking like drowned rats.

“So, Ren how about if we go see your mom today, the doctors say she had woken up?” Kelly asked as I finished my breakfast. I looked over to her and my whole face lit up. I got to see my mom.

“Yes please,” I said and she laughed admiring my happy face as she collected the plates.

“How about we go now then?” She asked and I got up quickly.

“Let me go get changed,” I said excitedly and rushed out of the room and into Jay’s.

We all arrived at the hospital and I couldn’t help but feel uneasy at being so close to dead and nearly dead people.

I followed behind as Kelly led us through the deserted corridor of the hospital. I could see that Jay was glancing at me every once in a while but I ignored it as I was way to excited to see my mom.

We stopped outside a room and Kelly looked at me and grinned. She opened the door to reveal my mom lying in a bed covered in thin blue sheets with wires and tubes coming out of her.

Suddenly, sadness washed over me and I couldn’t build the courage to take a step in. Seeing my reaction, Jay took my hand and looked deep into my eyes.

“Come on,” He said to me and slowly we both walked towards her.

We reached her side and that’s when tears began to fall from my eyes all over again. “I’m so so sorry mom,” I whispered and let go of Jay’s hand.

I bent down and kissed the top of my mom’s cold forehead. I looked over to her bedside table and sorted out the pretty flower’s Kelly and Simon must of gave her.

I looked down and my eyes landed on a piece of paper with writing on it. Curious, I picked it up and read what it said.

In the depth of the night,

High in the enemy’s eye,

Will she stand alone,

Clouded by the her mind,

The rest of them are gone,

And now she is on her own,

They try to find her,

But she never is found,

Her mind is set,

On protecting her unborn,

Her name is a riddle,

This day will come,

When she must run,

Her name begins with a L,

Though she likes to begin with a R,

She is never to far,

But one day she will,

Lauren M.

I stood shocked as the words I read sent shiver’s down my spine and make the hairs on my neck stand on end.

Omg they’re coming, My wolf cried in fear.

Who? I asked scared of the answer.

The others.
