Mark Lee ran faster than he ever had to try to get to his college. Usually, he would've taken his time but he's missed too many days in a month and was on the verge of getting kicked out because of it.
"Take this." A woman shoved a flyer into his hand.
"Remember Haechan!"
Mark ended up throwing it in the nearby garbage. "Mom's gonna kill me." Mark said as he ran faster. His college was nearing closer and he could see the gates about to close. "Please, God. Don't make me late."
Of course, his prayers weren't answered as he collided with someone. They tumbled and when they stopped, their limbs were tangled together.
"Why!" Mark cried as his face, legs, and arms, burned. He knew he probably had cuts everywhere.
"I'm so sorry!" The person on top of him gasped and tried to get up but the position was so weird that they couldn't get up.
"Please, get off!" Mark tried to push the person away.
"Stop! You're making it worse." The person clicked their tongue. Mark opened his eyes and saw a boy on top of him. Mark blushed a little and stopped. "Thank you. Now how can you see me?"
Mark looked at the boy ridiculously. "What do you mean? Just get off!" Finally, Mark was able to push the boy off and ran to his school. The gates were about to close but he slipped in and ran to to his classroom.
"Right on time, Mr. Lee." His professor looked up at him. "Sit in your seat." Mark bowed and sat next to Johnny.
"You look like a mess." Johnny snickered. "Not my problem." He shrugged.
"Man, this day sucks." Mark groaned and started to copy the notes.
Mark was on his free period and was going to go get food when someone grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the bathroom. Mark yelped and looked at the person who did it.
"It's you!" Mark gasped as the boy locked the door.
"It's me." The boy awkwardly smiled. "Look, I know this sounds weird but please, how can you see me? All day people have been ignoring me and every time i touch them, they don't seem to notice." The boy frowned.
"I don't know. Maybe you're friends are pulling a prank." Mark patted his shoulder. Mark shivered slightly. His shoulder was colder than a human's body temperature should be.
"Even in class, they didn't say my name for attendance." The boy sighed. "It's like i'm invisible."
"Hmm. Maybe you're a ghost." Mark joked.
"What the hell! Don't joke like that!" The boy punched Marks arm hard. "Jerk!" The boy unlocked the door and stormed off.
"What a weird kid." Mark mumbled and walked towards the cafe. He saw Johnny and his boyfriend, Ten.
"Mark!" Ten called and Mark walked towards them. "How are you?" Ten asked.
"I'm good. I've had such a weird day." Mark shuddered thinking about it.
"What do you mean?" Johnny asked. "Is this about how you walked into our first class?"
"Yeah. Some kid literally fell on me and then was asking weird questions like how i can see him." Mark rolled his eyes. "And just now he locked me in the bathroom and started claiming that he's invisible and no one can see him."
"Weird." Johnny and Ten said in unison.
"What's his name?" Ten asked. Mark shrugged and Johnny sighed.
"What does he look like?" Johnny asked.
"He has brown eyes and dyed light brown hair. He's like an inch or so shorter than me." Mark bit his cheek as he tried to think more. "That's all."
"I mean, you've seen this boy twice and you still don't know how he fully looks like." Johnny chuckled. "You're a lost cause."
"Anyways, i'm going back to class." Mark stood up and walked out.
"Should we help him?" Johnny asked. Ten nodded and they ended up following Mark back to his class.
Mark felt a presence behind him and turned around. "What do you want?" Mark asked.
"I know you've seen me a lot today and probably sick of seeing my face but i really need to know." The boy looked down. "I'll do a favor, anything."
"I wish I could help you but I honestly don't know." Mark said sadly.
"Can you find someone for me?" The boy asked.
"Sure." Mark sighed. "Who is it?" He asked.
"His name is Huang Renjun. He goes to this school." The boy said.
"I'll look for him. What's your number in case I find him?" Mark looked down at his phone. When he heard no response, he looked up and saw the boy had disappeared. "Weird kid." Mark mumbled.
