It took me an hour to actually get onboard. I got stuck behind a couple of fat people because security thought they were trying to smuggle on cocaine or something. It turned out to be powder to make protein shakes. I could see why they were confused. The chubby man in the red shirt didn't seem like the type to drink protein shakes. And I can go on for days about how pissed off stuff like that makes me. I mean can your son go without his pocket knife for a week. Does he really need to try and sneak it through security. And this is a message to the stubborn 5 year old that refused to take off her metal frozen tiara. Thanks I really enjoyed standing in line for an extra 15 minutes, but anyway I'm in so I should stop complaining.
Time to find my room.I'm on deck 7, number 583. I walk up the stairs. The elevators were way too slow and they were packed with people desperate to get to their rooms. I have to admit I kinda was too. There's just something that makes me excited about getting on a new boat and that's the room I get to stay in. I don't really understand why because hotels are bigger and fancier and I don't really care about them. But anyway I opened the door with the card around my neck. The room was just a typical cheap room. It had one small single bed for a very single person that could be pulled down from the roof. A small desk area with mirrors and a safe and a wooden bedside table. I dumped my stuff near my door and continued to discover more of the room.
The best part about the room was that it had a balcony. Sure it was small but it was real damn nice. It had a small chair, a clothesline that could probably hand up like one shirt and a glass fence. There were rooms surrounding me. Ellie and Jesse were on my left and some random was on my right. Or so I thought.
I'm kinda embarrassed to describe the next part. It's like the worst thing that could ever happen but anyway you've stuck with me for 2 chapters so I guess I owe it to you to go on.
