Sabotage

I woke up the next day at about 8:00 am, got ready and went to have breakfast at the buffet. They had a pretty good range. I had waffles with cream and strawberry sauce.
I went down to the gym next. I mainly wanted to go to see if Cassie and Joe were there. I stopped by my room first and put my swimmers on underneath' They had a really nice looking hot tub there. I went and just as I thought Cassie and Joe were there on the bikes next to each other. So I went up and sat on the bike next to Joe and started pedalling. It was hard work, I hadn't gone to the gym since high school.
"Oh hey, I didn't expect you to be here" said Joe
"Yeah, me neither"I said
I lied
"Do you go to the gym much?"Cassie asked
''Yeah all the time"I replied
I lied again. I never go.
'We are moving on to the treadmill' Cassie said with a grin on her face, 'do you want to join us'
'Yeah sure' I said as I got off the bike and reached for a drink.
We all walked over to the treadmills. There was a row of about 6 treadmills and huge windows across the whole wall. All you could see was ocean, and more ocean.
Joe got into the one on the far right, Cassie on his left and she insisted that I went next to her. I actually started to like her a little bit. She seemed quite friendly, but i didn't suspect was going to happen next.
I put the speed up to about 12 km/h and started running. I have to admit, I was trying to show off a little bit. But I could only keep up that pace for about 25 seconds before dying. I turned it down to 6km/h and continued walking, and puffing.
"So"I said 'how do you two know each other?"
"Joe's my partner at the gym" said Cassie
"Yeah Cassie's boyfriend doesn't like going to the gym so I go and keep her company" said Joe, "Cassie sometimes helps me edit my videos, she really good at it"
"Oh ok"I replied
We walked for about another 2 minutes. Joe looked away for a second and the Cassie, very dramatically fell over.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay" I said
"Cassie what happened?" Joe asked as he stuck up out his hand to help her up
"Your bitch of a friend pushed me over when you looked away"she replied
"What? No I didn't" I said, "you fell on purpose"
"Why would I do that?" Cassie said
"I can't believe you would do that Cora"said Joe
'I didn't' I said "I swear"
"Well' said Cora,"who are you going to trust, me- your loyal friend that you've know for 2 years and hang out each week with, or this crazy fan that you met yesterday"
"I trusted you Cora" said Joe as he walked away
Cassie just stood there walking and smiling at me. I hated everything about her, her stupid blonde dip died hair, Her smug face, her skinny body.
