AHHH! I can't say this enough! TY ALL SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT! IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME! (>^ᵕ^)>

I faintly heard the ticking of the clock in the background, as I held my breath, waiting to see what would happen next. 14 seconds later, (I actually counted XD) I heard a low chuckle from Ray.
"Are you serious? Cut it out." Ray brushed it off as a joke, but I could hear the undertone of fear in his voice.
"Ray... you've realized, right? I set a trap for three people." Norman said in a calm tone. I widened my eyes. Wait...
"I told Don it was behind my bed, and Gilda was told it was in the second-floor bathroom ceiling. At least, that's what I told you." Norman said. I knew something was coming. I knew he was going to hit us with his crazy plans.
"But I actually told Don the dining hall, and I told Gilda the library. The rope behind my bed ended up being gone. So what about the other two spots? Should we go over and check them out?" It was silent for about 5 more seconds before I heard a soft rustling sound. Probably someone sitting down on the bed. Then I heard Ray laughing. It sounded kind of...crazy?
"Aw man. And here I thought I was doing so well," Ray said. I heard the bed creak. "Yeah, you're right. I'm the one who's bean spying for mom. So, what gave it away?" He asked. I was still listening at the door, my ear pressed against the cold, smooth wood. I had to be careful not to make the door creak.
"It was when Sister first came to the house. I was disgusted with myself. I suspected you instantly. My own friend. It was really the worst-case scenario. I wished that I had been wrong about it, because you being the traitor would be quite problematic for us. But, for the enemy, picking you was the obvious choice. You would be able to provide input to our plans, which would be perfect for keeping control of the situation. You were the best one for the job." Norman explained.
Wow, he really had everything figured out. Incredible, honestly.
"Can't get anything past you. How embarrassing. I walked right into your little trap." Ray said.
"There's one more thing. I have a feeling this isn't the first time you've done this. If one of us suddenly started giving mom tips, I doubt she'd be so trusting. Just how long have you been mom's spy?" Norman asked. This conversation was so intense.
"For a while now," Ray said. Something that I thought was incredible was how his voice sounded. He sounded... almost proud. Smug, even. He didn't sound like that when he told me.
"I can't remember when I wasn't her spy. Guess you could say that I'm a sheepdog for a shepherd," he said. Norman gasped lightly.
"You knew about all of this and helped mom out anyway?!" Norman sounded mad now. He barely ever got mad. How was Ray so calm?
"Yeah," The raven-head admitted bluntly. There was a pause. Honestly, I felt like there should dramatic music playing. (Back away from the fourth wall Y/N. Make NO sudden movements so we can avoid accidentally breaking it.)
"Everything we talked about, all the planning, it was nothing but a series of lies?" Norman said, appalled. I could understand what he was feeling. It probably hurts a lot to be lied to.
"How much have you been telling mom? Can the trackers even be broken?" Norman asked.
"What are you gonna do with that info? Gonna ditch me based on my answer?"
I would never do that, but I don't know what Norman or Emma would do. Knowing Emma, she would still help him escape. Norman is more... complex.
"No, I won't. I want you to stay close, like you always have been." Well, that's good...
