Amir Pov:
Pulling up in front of Yori's house as Dre sat busying himself talking on the phone to his ol' lady. After parking my car, I took a minute to check my notifications only chuckling once I seen Evie was blowing up my phone. Sending voice messages back-to-back basically whining and complaining about how she was ready to go from her grandmother's.
Evie was my baby and only child, so she thought everywhere I went she was supposed to go with her clingy ass. Whenever she realized I couldn't take her everywhere with me she would get in her feelings and resort to blowing up my phone like now.
"Daddy, it's time to go home."
"Grandma's house smelly."
"She keep making me eat my vegetables or she say I can't go outside and play."
"Please save me daddy."
Those were only a few of the voice messages I had gotten and the last one had me in tears. Responding back to her message telling her I would be over there soon to pick her up I finally exited the car meeting up with Dre who was now leaning on the outside passenger door.
"Damn, I thought yo ass was gon' never get out the car." He complained with a frown on his face as I shot him a bird in response.
"I had to respond to my Princess, or she wouldn't have left my ass alone." I sighed shaking my head in thought of Evie's bossy ass while Dre chuckled.
"I understand man my little girl is only two and she already swear she running shit." Seeing the grin on his face as he spoke about his daughter, I knew just like me she was his world.
"You got kids?" I asked shocked as we started making our way up the driveway as he nodded with a small chuckle leaving his mouth.
"She's my only one but ion speak on her much cause you never know who might be on some grimy shit. My baby girl is my whole life and if something ever happened to her it would be a full out war on everybody." As he spoke in a serious cold tone with a deep glare on his face, I could tell he meant buisness.
"I feel you on that shit." I agreed dapping him up as we made our way up towards the steps only to stop once we seen Devon standing there pacing back and forth.
"Not this clown ass nigga." Dre stated in disgust as he sized Devon up not even trying to hide the distaste he had for his presences. "Didn't you just get yo ass pimp slapped? Why you even here?" He continued with a taunting smirk on his face as Devon finally stopped pacing and put his attention onto us.
Turning up his lips in a snarl Devon looked at Dre with a menacing glare on his face while I stood there hoping they asses didn't start fighting outside of Yori's crib.
"Who the fuck you think you talkin' too?" Devon asked harshly finally speaking up as he hiked up his pants walking closer towards Dre. "Watch who the fuck you talkin' too cause I'll really get yo ass taken out with a quickness." He warned as Dre laughed loudly in his face.
"Yeahhhhh, a nigga who puts a hit out cause he's too pussy to handle his own battles most definitely don't put fear in my heart." Dre said looking at Devon in an amusement causing his nostrils to flare once he realized he wasn't getting taken seriously. "You keep walking up on me like you stupid I'mma lay yo ass out right here."
"Man, y'all chill out." I huffed forcing myself between them as I pushed them away from one another. "Dre take my key and go inside man." I said taking my key off the ring giving it to Dre so I could try to diffuse the situation.
As neither one of them broke their glaring contest I smacked my lips shoving my key to Yori's house into Dre's chest finally catching his attention as he licked over his lips slowly before smirking at Devon with mischief in his eyes.
