ZARIA POV:
It was September 29th, my baby's special day. The day Princess Arie made her entrance into the world. I was up early this morning running a few quick errands for her party today.
It was around 9AM, and now I was in the kitchen preparing her favorite breakfast food. I made pancakes that I cut into a crown, bacon, eggs, grits, and homemade biscuits.
She was really a big fan of homemade biscuits, and could eat them every day if we allowed her too.
"You need help?" Yori asked coming in the kitchen in only his pajama pants and slides.
I was putting her food on a tray, and had it all set up nicely. I was going to allow her to eat in her room today since it was birthday. Nodding my head I directed Yori on what to do as I grabbed a glass out the cabinet pouring orange juice into it.
Walking upstairs with Yori behind me we entered her Princess and the Frog themed room. It was her favorite Disney princess and movie. I flipped on the light going to wake her heavy sleeping self up.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Arie! Happy birthday to you!" I sung to her as she giggled hiding her face under the covers.
"How old are youuuu?" Yori added sitting down the tray before tickling her.
"I'm six years old!" She yelled out through her giggles.
"How old? I didn't hear you?" He asked teasing her cuffing his ear.
"Six, daddy! I'm six years old!" She yelled proudly as he let her go kissing her cheek.
"That's right you're a big girl now." He smiled handing her the tray that had a small cupcake along with a candle on it.
"I've been a big girl, daddy." She rolled her eyes making me laugh at her grown self.
"Excuse me, then Miss Aremiah." He held his hands up surrender backing away.
"Daddy, you're silly." She smiled then gasp once she seen the tray. "Mommy, I love it." She said dramatically as I shook my head.
"Thank you, baby." I said kissing her forehead. "Make a wish then blow out your candle."
She closed her eyes making a wish before blowing out her candle as me and Yori clapped making her shy away.
"You can eat breakfast in your room this morning and watch TV, but I want you to eat your breakfast before you eat that cupcake Missy." I said sternly with my hands on my hips as she nodded.
"Yes, ma'am." She said bowing her head to pray over her food before she dug in.
"I'll come back later to come get your tray. Enjoy your day, baby." Yori said giving her one more kiss on the cheek walking out with me behind him. "Our baby girl six years old. I'mma cry." He fake cried pulling me into him as I chuckled.
"I know our baby is getting so big."
"I'm about to shower then head out cause I got a few more things I need to get her." He said going to walk away till I grabbed his hand.
"I made breakfast for us too." I smiled trying to hold in the laugh as his eyes lite up with his greedy ass.
Walking back downstairs Yori went to fix his plate, as I went to answer the door since someone was ringing the doorbell. Looking through the peep hole I seen it was Liyah with a whole bunch of stuff in her hands.
Opening the door I took some of the stuff out her hands as she walked inside wiping off her sweaty forehead. It was hot as hell outside today which was a good thing since Arie's party was in the backyard.
