DEVON POV:

Quickly making my way into the school building I went straight to the front office trying to figure out what the problem was. As soon as I entered the front office area I seen Domo sitting down with his arms crossed swinging his legs with a mug on his face, and I heard Bre going off.

I approached Domo kissing him on the forehead as he looked up with at me with a small smile. That's when I noticed the scratch on his face making me squat down to his level so I could get a better look at his face.

"What happened? You good?" I asked concerned, but I didn't see any other markings than the scratch on his face.

"I'm good. I got into a fight." He huffed while I sighed shaking my head.

"We'll deal with that later. Where's mommy?" I asked once I heard Bre getting louder along with cussing somebody out.

Pointing towards the back I followed his directions and went straight back to the door that read Principal Reid in black bold letters. Entering the room Bre quickly turned towards me with fire blazing in her eyes while the principal looked like he was overwhelmed.

Bre must've been reading his ass good.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked going to sit in the chair next to her, but not before shaking ol' dude's hand.

"This dumb ass is suspending Domo for defending himself while the other little white boy gets a warning." She quickly explained with her hands flying every where with a mug on her face looking just like Domo.

"Ma'am-

"Ma'am my ass, that little boy should've kept his fucking hands to himself if he didn't want the consequences! My son should not be getting no 10 day suspension over some minor ass fight he didn't even cause!" Bre yelled at him moving up towards the edge of her seat propping her hands on her knees.

"I understand your frustration Ms. Jones, but it's truly out of my hands. It's school policy." He said clearing his throat flustered.

"You obviously don't understand my frustration because if you did I wouldn't be here in your office discussing this matter. I pay all this fucking money for my son to attend this wack ass school and y'all suspend over something minor that he didn't even cause! Are you stupid or plain dumb because this shit is not adding up to me. Explain exactly why is my four year old son is getting 10 days while the little white boy is getting zero? Shit, is sounding and feeling a bit racist to me." Bre snapped pursing her lips eyeing the man who fixed his tie trying to avoid eye contact.

I just took everything they were saying in trying to understand the story because I'm confused on what's happening. I didn't get a call from the school just an urgent message from Bre telling me and I quote 'bring my bright ass up to the school before she commit mass murder'. I don't have time for that shit, so I quickly dropped whatever I was doing and brought my ass up to the school.

"No, Ms. Jones it is nothing like that. We are not discriminating against Dominic in any way, type, shape, or form, but we do have to follow policy. The other child did put his hands on Dominic first, yes, but his injuries were worst and not to mention Dominic did threaten the other student."

"So, it was still self mutha fucking defense. Who cares if his injuries were worst he should've never laid his hand on my baby." Bre spoke clenching her fist making me grab her hand trying to relax her a bit because I really wasn't in the mood to be trying to bail my baby out of jail.

"Dominic threaten to stab the other student with his scissor if he and I quote 'laid another dirty finger upon him'."

"But did he stab him though?" Bre asked completely unbothered or moved by the principal's speech. "Matter of fact did he die though?"
