Part Two...

Demere Pov:

Entering the dim lit basement behind Liyah I seen a small petite dark skin woman who sat tied up in a chair in the middle of the room. I couldn't see her face since she had her head down and her wild afro was also being using as a curtain to shield her face.

As if a light switch had gone off in Liyah her once sad and drained demeanor she had not even five minutes ago was completely wiped away. Now her cold demeanor filled the room as her face was void from any emotion as she now began slowly circling the woman in the middle of the room observing any and everything, she could about her.

"Neveah Portland the wife of Adr--

"Save the speech I'm not saying shit to you." Neveah snapped finally lifting her head up glaring harshly at Liyah who now stood in front of her with a chilling smirk on her face while I kept my distance leaning on the wall across from them.

"You don't have to say a thing because once I send your head perfectly gift wrapped to your husband, he'll get my message loud and clear." Liyah said calmly still not removing the smirk off her face as she now began to run her fingers over the blade of her Kurki.

"Tuh, you don't scare me I've done my research on you Aaliyah and I know everything about you. Even your deepest and darkest secrets that will get exposed if any harm comes to me." She threatened Liyah who stared at her blankly completely unmoved by her speech.

"Are you done?" Liyah asked letting out a cold laugh as if she were amused but with the look in her eyes, she was far from it. "That was cute, but trust Neveah I'm not worried about a damn thing you claim you have on me."

"You really should because not only will those sweet precious little boys of yours find out what an evil monster their mother is, but they'll also have to be dealing with a father who's locked up for life. It's such a shame for those boys of yours that you might be joining your lil' boyfriend once I'm through with you." She taunted with mischief playing in her eyes as she observed Liyah awaiting her reaction.

Quicker than either one of us could blink Liyah had snatched Nevaeh up by her hair in a painfully tight grip causing her to wince. Liyah forcibly leaned her head back as she pressed her knife against Neveah's neck causing her eyes to widen in surprise at the sneak attack.

"See, I was hoping I wasn't going to have to resort to violence, but I obviously see that you have a slick ass mouth that I don't have the patience for." Liyah spoke to her in a stern tone as Neveah tried to wiggle out her grasp. "Bitch stop moving." She snapped causing Neveah to quickly go limp.

As a squeal left Neveah's mouth my eyes widen in shock to see Liyah had pierced the skin on her throat making a slight gash that was now leaking blood.

"Now, that I've gotten my point across that if you keep up with the slick comments I'mma make sure I kill you in the most painful way I could possibly think of."

"Wait, you can't kill me!" Neveah called out as Liyah finally stepped out of her personal space. "How do you think Brayden would feel knowing you killed his half-sister?" She blurted out catching both me and Liyah off guard as we eyed her strangely.

"Gabriel Okoro is my father and Brayden is my younger half-brother." She continued seeing as she had now caught our attention but once she mentioned Gabriel whatever leverage she thought she had came to a quick end.

"You're telling me this as if it's supposed mean something to me because you obviously don't know Brayden. He doesn't want shit to do with his father's side. So, you being his half-sister means absolutely nothing to me and me killing you wouldn't bother him at all. He would probably even be ecstatic." Liyah teased taunting the girl trying to get under her skin which worked because she was now mugging Liyah as if she were her worst enemy.
