I'm currently in the airport, sitting with my friend and talking about random things. And I haven't told anyone about me and Choi Youngjae, for your information. It's my business, not theirs, and I don't want to get killed by any of his 'fans'.
"Yah, Park Chorong!" she laughed. "How can you have that in your carry-on?"
"It's important to me," I hugged my sketchbook to my chest.
"I know that, but still..."Someone suddenly tapped my shoulder.
"I can't believe you still have that," he sighed, pointing at my sketchbook.
"Why, Woohyun? It's my heart and soul!"
"Seriously?"
"Pretty much,"
"Don't doubt her, Woohyun. You know Chorong," she spoke.
"Jung Eunji!" I hit her arm lightly.
"But anyway..." he said, lowering his voice. "Choi Youngjae has been stealing glances at you for a while. Mind explaining?"I shrugged.
"I don't need to explain anything,"
"Yes, you do," Eunji said. "The Choi Youngjae was looking at you,"
"And so? No offense, but can't he look at me? I mean, it's just looking. It's not as if he's staring."I'm sorry, Eunji. I'm sorry, Woohyun. But I'm just not telling you guys that me and Choi Youngjae actually talked. Not now, at least.
I looked around, searching for my muse. Like usual, he had his headphones on and he was alone. When I looked at him, our eyes met before he looked back down at his phone.
"Yah, let's go," I slung my bag over my shoulder. "I'm hungry,"
Then we ate. After we ate, we were on the plane to Jeju-do. Eunji and Woohyun sat together and I ended up sitting alone. Eyy, these two... But at least I got the window seat~
"Chorong-ah!" Eunji called me. I turned to look at her when I saw someone standing in the aisle. Choi Youngjae. Again. He had his eyebrows raised as he pointed at the empty seat beside me. I nodded slowly.
He sat down in the seat beside me and took off his headphones, putting them around his neck as he looked at me.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he spoke quietly. I shook my head and looked back down, taking out my own pair of earphones and connecting them to phone, playing a random song.
I can't help it if I'm looking at him. I found it strange how he yelled at me just a few days ago, sent messages to each other from our bedroom windows that same night, and we're sitting together now.
On an airplane.
In public.
And they're all looking at us. I shook my head again and just leaned my head back, closing my eyes as I listened to music. I don't know how it went, but I fell asleep, and when I woke up, my head was leaning on his shoulder.
My hand went to my mouth, checking if I accidentally drooled, since that sometimes happens when I sleep... If I did, that would have been so embarrassing, but luckily, I didn't...
But I did end up apologizing to him once I got my senses back...
"Oh my gosh, Chorong!" Eunji hit me. "How could you sleep with your head on his shoulder? Have you no shame?"
"No shame, my face," I made a face at her. "I didn't do that on purpose! I'm lucky he's nice and didn't shrug me off!"She rolled her eyes and ran to follow Woohyun.
Wah, this girl...
I sighed and pulled on my bag so it wouldn't fall off my shoulder. I took out my phone and checked to see if I had any new messages. But I had none.
We got on a shuttle bus and it drove off to a place with a few houses. One house for each class. Since there were only three classes, art, music and theater, there were only three. And there weren't a lot of us who joined this trip. Either they were busy with other things or they just weren't allowed to come.
