"Cheers,"

And they drank, downing their glasses in one shot before getting up and heading to the dance floor. I watched as BamBam took Yerin by the hand, smiling slightly and pulled her with him.

"Poor Gyeom," Ah Yeon spoke, sitting down on my other side.
"We can't blame her," I agreed. "We both know how it is to..."

I stopped speaking when Youngjae started to stare at me.

"He won't confess. That's his problem. He's too stubborn,"
"Choi Youngjae. If your best friend liked Chorong and he was already hitting on her, would you confess?"
"... No,"
"Now do you understand Yugyeom?"
"No,"

Ah Yeon sighed, shaking her head.

"You're impossible,"

I looked at the both of them in turn. They might have broken up years ago, but their friendship was still like this. That only meant that neither of them were still in love with the other and they were only just friends.

Hm... That's quite nice to know.

"I have to go," she suddenly stood up. "Tell the others that I left already for me, will you, guys?"
"Yeah, of course we will," I nodded.
"Thanks," she smiled, waving at us before running up the stairs and out of the place.

And that left me and Youngjae alone.

"Artist girl,"
"Yes, Jae?"
"Don't fall for BamBam,"
"I won't,"

Yeah.. It's obvious he didn't believe me.

"I promise, Youngjae. I like you, not BamBam,"
"It's just... All the girls like BamBam-"
"But I'm not like the other girls,"

He gave me a small smile and took my hand.

"True,"

Yugyeom went over to us, sitting down beside Youngjae. He looked quite disappointed in himself.

"You okay, maknae?"
"Why does he have to choose Yerin?"

I figured...

"You know, Gyeom, you can always tell her you like her,"
"It's too late for that now. She fell for him,"
"She might not yet-"
"He's my best friend, guys. If he chose her now, how can I take her from him?"
"BamBam never means it when he flirts with a girl," Youngjae said. "Don't worry about him and just confess to her,"

Yugyeom lowered his head, shaking it.

"I can't beat BamBam at things like these,"
"Wah, this kid doesn't have any confidence," Youngjae sighed.
"All the girls like BamBam. You saw Ah Yeon... Jia... I'm honestly surprised Chorong hasn't fallen for BamBam, seeing the times they spent together,"
"Don't be surprised about Chorong. Jia was seriously... Jinyoung's still..."

Youngjae couldn't finish what he was saying.

"Just tell her!" I told him.

Without saying anything, he just got up and disappeared from our sight again. I doubt that he's going to tell her his feelings, though. It seemed unlikely, now that Yerin was still with BamBam.

"What do you think he's going to do?"
"Dance,"
"Yeah... I guessed he wouldn't tell her,"

He laughed softly and put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him. The distance I had kept between us for the past hour had gone in that one second.

"Relax, artist girl," he said. "Shouldn't you be used to this already?"
"I should, but I'm not,"

He laughed and poked my cheek once before planting a quick kiss on it.

"Get used to it,"

My cheeks heated up, like they always did whenever he kissed me.

"I'm not your girlfriend, Jae. You never asked me yet,"
"But I marked you as mine already, even though we're not official,"
"Isn't that the same thing?"
"No. There's a slight difference,"

He didn't tell me what that difference was, and I didn't bother to ask anymore.

Later into the night, me and Youngjae walked back home together. Well... It was basically just him walking with me on his back. Since he noticed how my eyes were already drooping, he told me to get on his back and he'd carry me back home.

"Youngjae," I said quietly.
"Hm?" he asked. "Are you tired?"
"A bit..."
"Just a little more, then. We're almost there,"

I wrapped my arms tighter around him, burying my face in the crook of his neck and closing my eyes. I almost fell asleep when he tapped my cheek to tell me that we were already outside my house.

He crouched down and I got off his back. He smiled slightly when he saw me staggering a bit before controlling myself and standing up straight.

"Sleepy, artist girl?"
"You don't have to ask," I mumbled. He chuckled and cupped my face in his hands, raising my head to make me look at him. He looked in my eyes, his lips slightly parted.

I dropped my gaze, suddenly feeling embarrassed. He let out a soft laugh and enveloped me in his arms.

"You're beautiful, Park Chorong. Do you know that?"

These days, it wasn't rare for him to say those sort of things, but each and every time he said it, I'd feel the same way. My cheeks would heat up and I would get this feeling of wanting to hide my face.

"Stop it, Jae,"
"Stop what?"
"Stop making me blush,"
"Just go in and sleep already," he patted the top of my head before pushing me to go inside, waiting until he was sure I was inside my house before going in his.

When I lied down on my bed and closed my eyes, I fell asleep immediately.

In the next few days, I was with Youngjae, Eunji and Woohyun occasionally with us. It turned out that Woohyun and Mijoo broke up for some reason. He wouldn't tell us what happened between them.

"Rong,"

And now that Youngjae already left to go on to his class first, I bet Eunji's going to interrogate me.

"Do you love him?"
"Love is a strong word, Eunji,"
"Do you love him?" she repeated.

She's not gonna stop until I tell her, is she?

"Yes, I love him,"
