Let's just say the rest of the summer passed by extremely quickly and now we're back at school. It's nice to say that we are not awkward with each other.
"Youngjae," I sighed, pushing his arm off my shoulder. "Don't be like this,"
But I still haven't gotten used to the skin ship. We weren't an official couple. We haven't reached that point yet though he would occasionally kiss me on my cheek when we were alone together.
"Don't even think about it," I pushed him away from me.
I wasn't going to be seen on the first day with Choi Youngjae's arm wrapped around my shoulder. If he did that and if looks could kill, I'd be dead the moment we stepped on campus.
"Why? It's not like we're doing anything wrong!"
"Tons of girls like you, you know,"
"And?"
"I don't want to..."I'm lucky he catches on fast.
"So what?"
But he really... Ugh...
"I don't want to die, Jae,"
"And you're not. Just stay beside me,"
"I'll be more likely to die if I'm with you,"
"Then die,"I can't believe him...
I made a face at him, which he replied with an innocent smile before putting his arm around me again. We walked silently. I was quiet because of what he was doing and where we were going.
"Youngjae! How was your summer?" someone I didn't know ran up to him. I think she's from the music class...
"Good," he replied. She completely ignored me but I noticed her touching his arm repeatedly. Flirt. It was a long time before she left. She kept on asking him questions that I found irrelevant to his summer...
"Flirt," I thought out loud, making him burst out laughing.
"Jealous girl," he smiled.I didn't deny it.
How could they just walk up to a boy who they hadn't seen in months and start flirting with him while asking him question and while the boy has his arm around another girl?
"You're not denying it," he noted.
"You want me to deny my jealousy of a girl flirting with you when I can't even do that?"
"God, you're really jealous, aren't you?"
"Shut up, Jae," I mumbled.I walked faster, leaving him behind, but he caught up with me in no time at all, like usual.
"Should we just sit down?" he asked, smiling. I nodded. And we sat down under a tree, the exact same tree he always sat underneath when I was drawing him on my sketchbook. "Do you have a new sketchbook with you?"
I nodded.
"Will you still sketch me this year?"
"Of course," I smiled.
"That's my girl,"My cheeks heated up when he ruffled my hair.
"Aww, you guys are so sweet!"
"Hi, Eunji," Youngjae smiled.
"Hey, Ji," I said. "Go away, please,"Instead of leaving, she laughed and sat down next to me.
"That's no way to talk to your best friend,"
"Forgive her, Eunji,"
"It's not like I won't, you know. She's still my best friend, even if she's spending more time with you than me these days,"
"Sorry, Ji..." I apologized.
"But I don't mind. I have Woohyun,"Um... Okay...
The rest of the day passed quickly, quite uneventful actually, which was the opposite of what I thought. But of course, something just had to happen.
"Don't you dare touch her," Youngjae glared.
"But oppa!" she whined.
"What 'oppa'?" he rolled his eyes. "I never allowed you to call me your oppa or anything else. Not even she calls me 'oppa' so how on earth would I ever let you do that?"
