"Queen Hydra of Tresseria was shot and unfortunately... died. According to the—"

Before the reporter finished her report, my dad shut down the television and stood up to put the remote on the table.

"Your mom did a great job," he said while clapping his hands.

"Well, she's also a great mom. No wonder why she killed the fucking queen in just a one bullet," my brother said while he's cleaning his bow.

"Tariu, apo, when you grow up will you kill the Trevia just like what your lola did?" He asked to my 3-year-old nephew.

"Yes, lolo. I will," magiliw na sagot nito. Dad just pat his head and smiled.

Biglang bumukas ang pintuan kaya lahat kami napatingin doon.

"Mom!" I shouted when I saw her. I ran as fast as I could nang makitang puro dugo ang damit nya. Her shirt was filled with her own blood.

"I w-was shot," nanghihinang sabi nito. Agad akong hinawi ni dad at inalalayan si mom.

Numb. Namamanhid ang buong katawan ko at nanghihina nang makita si mommy na nasa ganyang kalagayan.

I looked at her face and paleness. Her face is so fucking pale!

"Lupus! Call our doctor!" Sigaw ni dad at nagmamadaling tinawagan ni kuya ang doctor.

"Tita, ano pong nangyari kay lola?" My nephew asked innocently.

"She was shot," sabi ko at tsaka kinarga sya.

"N-no. I will accept my death," nanghihinang sabi nito. She cupped my father's cheek and smiled at him.

"Sinong may gawa sa'yo nito?" My father asked in anger.

"Trevia. Their s-son," she answered and closed her eyes, slowly.

Tumingin ako sa itaas upang pigilan ang pag-iyak ngunit kahit anong pigil ay patuloy pa rin itong kumawala.

I should have made myself ready dahil alam ko na kapag napatay mo ang isang Trevia, buhay ang kapalit. But still I can't accept that.

I gritted my teeth in anger.

Fuck them! I will kill them! Fuck you Trevias!
