Harry's POV
Tony, that bastard. I didn't care much for the girl, but rape isn't funny.
Yet I couldn't get her large blue eyes out of my head.
I hope she's okay. But I had a girlfriend, and I was getting to see her today.
Pulling on a shirt and black skinny jeans, I headed downstairs. There were people resting their hangovers on the couches, and there were red cups littered on the floor. I was sick if all of this. Partying wasn't really my thing, especially if it occurred every Friday. Last night was different.
I slipped on m boots and headed out the door.
I sent a quick text telling Clarissa that I was coming to see her.
When I arrived, after a long 25 minutes, her car wasn't in the driveway. But she had texted me a "sure."
I sighed and went up to the porch. I rang the doorbell repeatedly, with no answer. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a stack of letters on her doormat. Curiosity got the best of me and I took a peek to see who they were from. At Least five were from a guy named Dave Bower. I was about to tear one open when I heard wheels on gravel. I turned around to see a familiar Toyota. I quickly dropped the letters before heading over.
"Hey babe." She flung her arms around my neck and we kissed. The usual spark was gone, and she kept showering me with kisses until I politely laughed.
"Let's go inside." I suggested, and hurried up the steps. Clarissa unlocked the door to her large house, which was empty due to her parents being out of town.
"Come on babe, let's go upstairs." She said.
"Let's just talk, and maybe make some tea and watch a movie? We haven't done that in a long time." I suggested, stroking her long brown hair.
Clarissa gave me a pout.
"Come on, don't be like that." I said. I was tired and just wanted to relax with my girlfriend, who just wouldn't let up.
I grabbed her hand and we headed to the living room. I turned on a movie that we both loved, "Two Weddings and a Funeral."
Clarissa looked sad throughout the whole movie, sending me pouts and trying to make me go upstairs with her throughout the whole movie. How had I put up with her all this time?
I couldn't stop thinking about those blue eyes. I caught myself zoning out when Clarissa tapped my shoulder.
"Harry!" She said.
"Huh?" I replied
"The movie is over." I knew what she wanted now, and I really wasn't in the mood.
I glanced at my watch. "Shit I'm gonna be so late." I lied hoping she would let up. I kissed Clarissa on the cheek. "Sorry babe, I have to go"
I let myself out and hopped back into my vintage Porsche.
