Sophia's POV:
"That poor girl! She's beautiful, though, and her siblings are adorable." I said.
"Yeah." Liam answered, glancing at the floor.
"Liam, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Listen, Soph, I haven't been honest. I'm not ready to adopt. I can't do it. I'm sorry." Liam said.
My smile faded. "Oh. I mean, it's both of our decisions."
"Sophia, I'm sorry. I know you wanted to. Wr will have children. Eventually. Just not now."
"Ok." I nodded.
We left without notice. We went home. I guess we weren't adopting afterwards.
I was so disappointed. I wanted to adopt, or at least have a child. But we can't have our own. Liam won't do it with me. He's waiting for the 'perfect moment.' We'll boo hoo. I reached for Liam's face. I kissed him more passionately than I had ever before.
"Sophia what-?" I cut him off. "Kiss me. If you want me, kiss me."
"Ok." he smiled slyly.
(Guys pretend they've been together for a long time and are married)
