We walked into the adoption center. I squeezed Sophia's hand as we neared the wooden doors. Liam and Eleanor were right behind us. We rang the doorbell, trying to be polite. A bright eyed young woman walked in, with Sister Katharine beside her.
"Welcome." she said simply "follow me."
"We came here for the young blonde girl and her siblings." Sophia said from beside me.
"Okay. She's right up here." We followed the nun and the young blonde woman upstairs. She open the door
"Madison?"
"Yes?"
" Someone's here to see you."
Sister Katharine pushed open the door.
"What? I mean um....wow I thought....." she trailed off.
Sophia wrapped the girl in a hug. There were two other girls in the room. I felt selfish.
"Where are your siblings?" I asked.
"Gone." Madison replied serenely.
"We've come to adopt you."
"Really?!" She said excitedly. "wow thank you, I mean this is amazing!" Her friend, a cute little brunette gave her a hug
"I'll miss you!" She cried.
"I'll miss you too! So much!" Madison said.
