I groaned in frustration when people started pouring in. At first it was 10 people, then 40, and then so many I couldn't count.
Jertha was sitting at the counter pouring drinks. I wanted to snatch the cup from her hand and pour it on her stupid haircut.
But I didn't. Instead, I marched over to her and calmly said: "Oh my god! This isn't even your house, and you're home alone, and you invite everyone!"
"Chill." she replied.
"No, I won't just CHILL, thank you very much!" I screamed. Then I blurted something out I wish I hadn't.
"Remember that breakfast conversation?! That was YOU they were talking about! You're on a thin line, and you just made it worse."
She was completely shocked. "W-what?" Jertha stuttered.
"Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked me. A brown mop of hair and warm green eyes greeted me. I felt like he was talking about more than my outrage.
"I guess." I shrugged. "Yeah. I'm fine."
"Okay." Harry said. "Do you want to talk?"
I did, actually. But could I trust Harry? I decided to take a chance. "Sure."
