Chapter 28

Emma's POV:
Last night was crazy. Fortunately, if been careful enough to not drink, or else it's off with my head. Why Madison took the fall for Jertha, I don't know. I sighed as I hopped into the warm shower. The warm water soothed my tense muscles. I quickly washed my hair and hurried to check my phone.
Last night, Niall and I talked for a bit. His green eyes and accent were adorable, and I loved his smile.
He said he would text me when he gets back from the mall, which was at 12:00. It was almost 12:03. I was surprised be hadn't texted yet.
I was about to beat my high score on flappy bird when I got a text from a random number.

Hey, it's Niall.
Hi! What's up?
Nmu?
Same. I'm so bored.
Come to my place?
I bit my lip. Should I, especially after last night?
I decided I would sneak away.

See you in 10? I typed
Sure :)

I grinned to myself and changed out of my sweatpants into jeans and a white tee. My parents were tired so they were sleeping. I tiptoed down the hall, careful not to wake anyone up. The kitchen was empty so I snuck in and gabbed a breakfast bar.
"What are you doing?"
I jumped and dropped my food.
"Madison! You scared me!" I exclaimed.
"Where are you going?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Niall's." I responded, knowing she wouldn't let up.
"Nice." Madison replied, and went to the livingroom.
I smiled to myself as I slipped on my shoes and walked down the street.
I hesitated before knocking on the door. A familiar blond head greeted me.
"Emma!" Niall wrapped me in a hug.
"Nice to see you, again." I added. "We haven't seen each other for so long! Eight hours!" I said, sarcasm laced in my voice.
"Hahaha." he said, and led me inside. The frat house was surprisingly clean.
"We didn't have a party, since you guys had one."
I almost replied that it wasn't my choice but I kept my mouth shut.
"Can I see your room?" I blurted, not knowing what to say.
"Sure." He smiled. He grabbed my hand and led me upstairs into a neat bedroom.
"Nice room." I hopped onto the bed, which was really comfortable. I felt like I was sitting on a cloud.
"Thanks." Niall sat next to me. Before I knew it he was leaning in. And I couldn't help but lean in too.
