Madison's POV:
These little rascals were such a pain sometimes.
I laughed under my breath. We sat down at a table. Sister Susan made the daily announcement. " the buffet will open up in a few minutes. Be aware that there are over 100 kids here. take only what you will eat. have a nice day, and make sure to be on time for school."
"Today, we're gonna learn about shapes and all that." Nadine said happily.
"Wow. sounds like fun."
"Yeah, but I already know everything."
"Aren't you sassy." I laughed.
"Cuz I'm awesome."
The breakfast bell rang. The buffet was now open. Today there were pancakes with bacon.
"Yummy! Pancakes!" Alex cheered.
I know that he loves pancakes.
"Pancaks!" Lily tried to pronounce the word. I laughed at their excitement.
I got up to go get our food. "You stay here." I told them sternly. I walked into line, right behind Julie. "Did you hear One Direction's new song? It's amazing!" Julie giggled.
"Of course. what kind of fan would I be?" I responded. I scooped up 4 pancakes, being considerate to not take too much. 4 pancakes and 4 pieces of bacon should be good for all of us. I grabbed utensils and say down.
"Good morning everybody! How's breakfast?" sister Susan asked on the intercom. A chorus of "greats" filled the room. "Today, we are having our Future Parents Night! Be sure to make a good impression. Remember kids, everybody has a family out there, somewhere!"
"Maybe we'll get adopted." Nadine sighed.
"I hope so." I answered.
