I stormed in, threw my bags down, and lay down on the bed.

I felt angry. She had reminded me of that horrible day. I went into the bathroom, where my best friend as well as roommate, was standing.

"Hey." I said.

"What's wrong?" Emma asked.

"Nothing. I'm fine. I'm fine." I lied. I got up, and reapplied my heavy eyeliner.

My other roommate, Jertha, who had a horrible attitude, walked in.

"Hey goth."

"Hey nosepicker."

She blushed. "shut up."she mumbled.

I scoffed. "So what, are you here to tell us something intelligent, or what?" I said, my tone coated in sarcasm.

"No, I just wanted to use the bathroom."

Emma and I left the restroom. I sat down on the bed. "She is just-"

"Annoying." Emma replied. She had brown hair, dark brown, and was really short. Madison was tall, blonde, and had blue eyes and slight freckles on her nose.

We sat there, laughing, telling jokes, talking about school, and anything else that came to mind. Jertha tried talking to us, by saying really positive things that TOTALLY made our day.

We heard footsteps coming down the hall, and Sister Mary's voice.

"Okay kids, get ready for tonight. We're having future parents come. Look presentable, and make sure to act properly."

I made my way towards the set of drawers, which didn't have too many things in it. I picked out an old blue dress, which I paired with my only shoes; converse. Emma and I walked out, linking arms.

The room as filled with people. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jack being led out with a tall couple.

"Lucky." I muttered.
