Hold me hostage, I'll hold you accountable.

Madison's eyes slowly drifted open, her blurry vision taking its time focusing.

"Guys, she's waking up!" she heard. Finally regaining her sight, she squinted and saw Benny, Ethan, and Rory standing in front of her.

"What? Where- where am I?" she asked, looking around the dark, cement room she was in.

Instead of answering her, the three just stood around her waiting for her to notice the ropes around her wrists and ankles.

"Wait.. why- why am I tied up? What the fuck?" She pulled at them, struggling. She hadn't struggled with such easy material in years.

"Answer me dumbasses!" she yelled.

"I hope Sarah and Erica get back soon," Ethan mumbled. And speaking of great timing, they walked in. Madison tried to turn her head, but due to her being restrained, she couldn't.

"We're back bitches, and we brought the- oh, she's up." Erica handed them leafy herbs and took a seat in the few chairs placed in front of Madison.

"Hey girly," she said, "how ya feelin?"

"Terrific," she sarcastically called, "or I would be if someone told me what the fuck was going on!"

Sarah shut the large door and locked it. "Listen, we didn't want to have to resort to this, but you honestly left us no choice."

"No choice for what? The hell are you gonna do? These ropes won't hold me for long."

"Actually..." Benny said, holding up the herb. "They will."

"What the fuck is a little weed supposed to do?" Madison laughed. Then her face froze. "Oh."

It's that fucking Vervain again.

"How the fuck did you find out?" She yelled.

"We found you in Mr. Sterns office with syringes inside of you. We pulled them out and smelt something familiar but none of us knew what it was. We asked Evelyn and she told us it was an old herb called Vervain. Stereotypically used against vampires," said Ethan.

"Not me though," Erica winked. Madison growled.

"So what do you want from me?" she asked.

"We want information. And if you don't comply..." Erica wandered off, holding up the Vervain, "we have ways of making you talk."

Madison leaned as far forward as she could with her body strapped to the chair. "I'm not saying shit."

"We'll just see about that," said Benny.

"Starting off easy, how did you meet Stephani?" Sarah asked.

"Why the hell does it matter?"

"We're curious. And I want to see how effective this will be."

Madison sighed deeply, despising them for forcing her to think back to the day that ruined her life. Her heart began to ache. She hated the feeling. She was struggling to keep her anxiety under wraps and got worried more emotion would show. She knew talking about something so hurtful to her would definitely credit to slowly flipping her switch. She quickly shook her head.

"Nope. Not gonna do it."

Erica sighed lightly. "Welp, here we go." Without any hesitation at all, Erica took the weed in her hand and shoved it down Madison's throat. She was still weak and couldn't prevent Erica from opening her mouth. Instead, she bit the blonde as she continued to choke on the herb.
