Which version of myself belongs? If any at all.
"Mads! Come on let's go!"
"Coming babe!" Madison rushed down Benny's stairs and met him at the bottom. Benny looked her up and down. "Damn baby you're fine as hell!"
She smirked. She was wearing fishnets with a mini skirt and a purple top tied above her belly button, the shirt and the pentagram belly piercing were the same ones from the night she went insane. She knows the history in it is bad, but the fit is cute and she's not giving that up. Her short boots clicked against the ground a few times as she reached him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You think so, Daddy?"
Benny's smile dropped and he started to stutter, "Uh- well yeah, uh, of course you always-"
"Shut up." She smiled and laid her lips on his.
"Hey guys what's taking so lo- oh, god," Erica rolled her eyes as she walked into the room. Madison pulled away, doing the same.
"Oh shut up Barbie you're just jealous."
Erica blushed. "Am not!" She crossed her arms and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, scoffing. "I would never be jealous of Benny."
Ethan walked in afterwards. "You mean Madison, right? Jealous of Madison?"
"Oh- yeah that's what I meant." Erica widened her eyes and exited the situation. Madison grinned.
"Dude are we gonna go or not? I'm starving," Sarah said, rubbing her stomach. The door, being open, allowed them all to see Rory fall to the ground right in front of it. "Woah, you okay?" Benny said, helping him up.
"Ouch, yeah. I feel like I'm still hungover," he said, dusting himself off.
"Rore we got drunk over a week ago," Sarah told him. "Yeah well, I'm still feeling it!"
Wow. An entire week since the Stephani incident. It somehow feels both like it's been years and like it was yesterday. None of them wanted to think about it now, though.
"Can we go?" Erica whined. Madison pushed Rory out of the way and strutted out of the house running ahead of them. They all poured out of the house and started walking behind her to the diner down the street.
Madison had been acting so different. She was still a ruthless bitch at times, though. Like when Erica accused her of having lost her power, Madison held her in another chokehold. Same old same old. But she had just seemed to be radiating with happiness.
The vampire hollered with joy and threw her hands in the air. "You guys ever actually felt glad to be alive?" she asked, genuinely.
"M, I'm pretty sure we've all always been grateful for our lives," Ethan said.
The others looked at each other unsurely. Ethan looked around. "Wait- seriously? Just me?"
"Huh. Interesting," Madison said, stopping her walk as they got closer to her.
She did a little hop towards Benny and dragged him ahead with her, running and yelling out. "Come on, Ben, join me!"
Erica smiled. She had grown attached to her. Again. She was actually glad that Madison was happy now. Even if it was with Benny. Besides, she had her eyes on someone else- a blonde vampire ninja.
"Almost like the old Madison, huh?" Ethan said.
"No," Sarah said, "she'll never be the same. Not as a vampire. But for now, that's good. She's her own person."
Benny looked back at the others behind him shyly, not wanting to obey his girlfriend.
"BENNY," she yelled demandingly, purposely sprouting veins under her eyes. He looked around nervously and, keeping his arms down and only raising his forearm, he falsely put his hands in the air and whispered a high pitched "weeeee."
