Chapter 18

{Draco's POV}

I was undoing Harry's handcuffs when Ginny had mustered all her energy to say - 'Avarda kedarva'

It was aimed at me I am pretty sure, but I had dodged it. I was pretty happy with myself until I realised who it had hit instead.

I saw him next to me in pain and beginning to die, his body fell back limp and his pulse was no longer available.

"No- NO NO NO! HARRY!" I look at him trying to find any signs of life.

"YOU BITCH!" Pansy shouted at her and hexed her unconscious
"WE GOTTA TAKE HARRY TO POPPY!"

we all walked back into the castle, grabbing attention from random people around us.

We dashed into the hospital wing.

"MADAME POMFREY!" I shout to the best of my abilities. She comes running to me very confused
"What happened this time?"

I ran a hand through my head, I couldn't do it.

"He is dead." Hermione said
"Who!?"
"Harry."
"HARRY POTTER IS DEAD?" She screamed

"DONT JUST STAND THERE! PUT HARRY IN THE BED AND GO GET DUMBLEDORE! NOW!" She screeched trying to figure out what to do with Harry.

{3rd persons POV}

Draco and Hermione ran to Dumbledore's office- Mcgonagall was in there to luckily
"PROFESSORS!" Draco shouted

"What is so important that you must barge in l-"
"HARRY! He-"
"He what?" Dumbledore asked warily
"HE IS DEAD!"

They both turned pale, realising what this meant for the wizarding world.

"Where is he now?" Minerva asked calmly
"With Pomfrey." Hermione answers

They all rush to the hospital wing-

"Where is Harry?" Albus asks
"I-in there, currently there are no signs of life- HOWEVER- I have discovered something."

They all had a look of confusion on their faces
"What would that be Poppy?"
"There is brain activity- he is still 'living' but only in his mind."

Minerva and the other students had paled even more and their confusion grew.
"May I speak to everyone in this room without interruptions?" Albus asked
They all nodded

He sighed, "he is still alive- currently he will be battling The Dark Lord in his mind."
"WHA- how would you know?" Pansy asked
"Well, do you know what horcruxes are?"
"No." They all said

He then proceeded to explain what horcruxes are and how they work.
"What has that got to do with this situation?" Pansy asked

"Everything."

A/N IM SO SORRY ITS BEEN LIKE 2 WEEKS SINCE I HAVE UPDATED! I HAVE BEEN TIED UP WITH SCHOOL AND MY BIRTH DAY.
Anyways, this was just a short filler since I left you guys on the edge with the last chapter.
