That One Friend Group: Summer Feud

1. Beginning of The End

(Read "That One Friend Group" before this or the story won't make sense.)

Jordans POV:

It did feel nice though to know that someone will do anything for me and I was thinking that I could use that as an advantage but I got stopped when I saw him leaning in to kiss me and next thing I knew was him so close up to my face, I couldn't. I didn't like him that way and although I felt bad I pushed him away. "Sorry." I said, it was awkward and there was a silence for a little while. "No, i'm sorry." He said and shook his head, I did feel bad that this was the second time that I've rejected him but I was not going to date him. He seemed really embarrassed, I mean no wonder but then I had an idea. If he likes me so much that this is his second time asking me out, I should be nice to him and take advantage of the fact that he'll do basically anything for me. That was genius. So I started being nice to him. "It's ok, let's just pretend that that didn't happen so we can stay friends and it won't be awkward." I smiled at him and he looked confused, he was probably confused on why I didn't slap him or walk away. I didn't know what I was going to make him do, but I decided to just be nice to him until I think of something good to do. We spent the rest of the night the same way it started, just walking along the side of the ocean and just talking, I was still thinking of something I could make him do, it had to be good.

Chris's POV:

Tonight is the night that Parker asks out Jordan and i'm over at Stella's house because we had an idea. This may sound like we're creeps but we stuck a microphone inside of Parker's shirt just to hear what happens. "Nothing goods happening!" I said, we've been sitting here for a while now and all that's happened is him giving her a panda plush. "Just wait, Chris." Stella said and I stood up. "If nothing goods going to happen then I'm going home so I can play games." I crossed my arms and she sighed. "I have games on my phone, play them." She passed me her phone and I smiled, that's what I wanted. She didn't have the best of games, all she had was High Heels (well the only good game that she had.) so I just played that. "Damn I don't know how to say this." We heard Parker say and I threw her phone across the room to listen, she just looked at me then her phone telling me to go pick it up but I just hit her and started listening in. "What is it?" Jordan said in a soft tone, me and Stella looked at each other confused, why was she being nice? Parker sighed and then spoke so fast like Sonic speed. "I've liked you the second that we met and I know you rejected me but I can't do this, I can't only be friends with you and I'm willing to do whatever to make you mine." I looked at Stella. "What did he say?" He said it so fast that I couldn't understand it, she just ignored me. There was silence and then we heard Jordan say sorry. "Oh no." Stella said covering her mouth and I looked at her. "What?" I was confused. "He probably tried to kiss her." She assumed, why would he do that? "Did she do it back?" I asked her and she just looked at me, telling me no. He apologized next and there was another awkward silence. "It's ok, let's just pretend that that didn't happen so we can stay friends and it won't be awkward." We heard Jordan say, that couldn't be her, she was being too nice especially to Parker. Me and Stella just shrugged it off and I gave her her phone back which had a crack now. She looked at me in disappointment and I just left her house. We were going out tomorrow to the park with the boy gang (not Ryder of course he's hanging out with Layla), Jordan, Destiny ,Penelope and Eric (The new boy who's joining our class after the summer that Parker's friends with), so we'll hopefully see a bit more of nice Jordan. Hey, maybe she'll stop bullying me!

Stella's POV:

I'm going round to Parker's house to get him so we can walk to the park. We were late because he's taking forever so I have to keep texting the group chat to tell them that we're coming, slowly. He finally came outside after fifteen minutes or so and I decided to take it as an opportunity to ask him how it went with Jordan even though I was listening. "Finally, you took forever." I pushed him a little bit and he just done it back. "Shut up no I didn't." We started walking and when we got to the end of his street and I asked him. "So how did it go with Jordan?" He looked at me and started trying to say a sentence until one finally came out fully. "Okay, she didn't say that she liked me but she was giving me hints. Or, being nice to me which is weird for Jordan." That could only mean one thing, if Jordan is nice to a guy she likes him. I worked that out while ago when she had a crush on someone else in our class and she was mean to everyone else but him. One time Josh tried to beat him up and she just beat up Josh instead. I told Parker that and he smiled and his face filled with joy. "I hope she does, I really like her." Yeah I knew that. I really hope that she did because then I could call myself a couple maker? I guess. Because, I helped Tayler and Destiny get together and then I could maybe get these two together. He kept telling me things about Jordan that I already knew but I did find it strange how he knew this stuff about her because I didn't think that they got that close but maybe it was ok that he was stalking her. "Stella." He said and I looked at him, I sort of zoned out and I snapped back into reality when I heard my name. "Should I invite her over to my house?" I didn't know what to say to be honest, I think that he might be moving too fast but besides she would like his house, it screams Jordan. It is a modern styles, light brown wooden walls on the exterior and a beautiful front yard which includes a fountain, a flower garden and a golf course. Basically luxury, it's the only reason I actually agree to walk with him to the park and school with him so I can go see his house. "If you want to! I'd say yes but it is up to you." I knew that I was helpful and he could as well. "Do you think she would want to?" I know that she doesn't know what his house looks like, so she'd probably say no unless I told her or unless she likes him as more than a friend. "I think she would, I don't know though." I told him, adding on the 'I don't know though' in case she says no and it ruins his life forever. "I think I will, i'll ask her at the park." He had gained so much confidence from last night and I kind of liked the new Parker. NOT LIKE THAT! I liked his confidence and how he was so determined on getting her to be his girlfriend. It was cute. Again, NOT LIKE THAT! I would never like him like that, he's Jordan's and her's only. Besides, I know who i'm gonna make mine. We kept walking and we were just at the corner to turn to the path of the park when we heard someone screaming Parker's name. "Parker!" I didn't recognize the voice so we both turned around to see Parker's new bestie, Eric. He came running towards us and I just looked at Parker. "Why's he coming?" I asked and he just shrugged. He approached us and just looked at me. "Who's this? Your girlfriend?" Eric joked and I just death stared him while Parker hit his shoulder. "No but she's helping me get a girlfriend." It sounded bad when he said that and Eric was confused, he came to visit our class about four months ago and didn't properly get to understand what type of class we were before leaving and only returning now. "What do you mean?" He asked and Parker just shook his head while I still didn't say anything, my first proper impression of him wasn't good but I could tell he would fit in perfectly with the boy gang and replace Ryder. "It doesn't matter," He started and Eric was about to say something when Parker cut him off. "But her names Stella, and she's single." He patted his back and I showed a disgusted look to Parker and he just smirked, Eric smiled at me and I just turned around and started walking to the park. "Stella don't be like that!" Parker shouted for me but I just ignored him, he knew who I had a crush on because big mouth Chris told the whole boy gang which did worry me because Ryder knew and could tell Layla who would tell the whole school so I had to be careful in case I got on his bad side because I didn't want him to tell anyone. I was mad that Parker even said that because he told me that he would get me dating my crush if I got him and Jordan together so why would he even mention that to anyone else! I guess he's probably joking but I don't know with him. They caught up and I started making small conversations with them every now and then but mainly just let them have their own conversations. When we entered the park, Eric ran up to Josh and Tayler so I was left with Parker. "I'm sorry for saying that to him, I will keep my promise and get you with him." I nodded and told him that everything was okay and that I forgive him and we continued walking down to the rest of them. As soon as we got there, Jordan went and threw herself onto Parker, hugging him. The rest of us just stared at them in confusion, me and Chris told everyone else about the things they said last night but none of us expected it to come to this, not gonna lie I don't think I've seen Jordan ever hug a boy. They were pretty close to each other but none of us could tell what they were saying so we went to the swings and they followed, Parker got on a swing and Jordan got on the one next to him. Maybe she does like him.
