15. Setting Up a Disaster

I'm with Destiny, Jordan and the boy gang and we're going to pick up Chris. Our plan was that as soon as we picked him up, we'd ask Tayler to go get us stuff from the store across the road and then as soon as he was gone we'd go and leave him. Destiny was a little reluctant to do the plan at first because she didn't want to leave him but we convinced her. Tayler had already agreed to do it because we asked him in advanced. We made it to the front of the hospital and Destiny opened the door. "I need to remember it's not automatic." She said and I laughed, obviously referring to when she walked straight into it. We went inside and Chris was sitting in reception. "Chris!" The boy gang exclaimed and ran up to him, putting him into a tight hug. Me, Destiny and Jordan walked over. "Hi." We said and he said it back. "Oh boy have you missed a lot." Ryder said to him and then the boy gang started to tell him everything and I could tell it took a minute for Chris to process everything. "Wow I did miss a lot." He laughed. "We missed you." I said to him and he smiled. "I didn't." Jordan admitted. "Shut yer gob." Chris said to her and she raised her fist to him. "Okay! I'm sorry! Don't put me back in that goddamn hospital bed." He said and we all laughed. We got him outside and Tayler went over to the shop and we all walked to the bus stop because we were not walking all the way to the skate park. "So how are we setting it up? It's a skate park." I asked. "We rented it for the next two days." Parker said and I nodded in agreement. "I'm so sad that Tayler's leaving." Jordan said sarcastically. She didn't care that he was leaving but she wanted to act sad for Destiny because we know how hard it is on her right now. She seemed worried about leaving Tayler alone but she knew it was for something good. The bus arrived and we all raced to the back to get a seat. Chris had to sit on the floor. "I just got out of hospital, I should have a seat." He said angrily and growled at us. We laughed at him. "You'll be fine." Josh said and Chris just looked down sad.

We made it to the skate park and we got off of the bus. "The banners won't fit." Parker said and we looked at him but the boy gang just agreed with him. "What banners?" Jordan asked and they looked up at her. "We got banners and stuff for him, that's why Josh has that bag." Ryder told her and she sighed. Josh held up the bag, it looked like a really cheap one which was only like 10p so the second he held it up everything fell out of the bottom. "Josh!" We all said. "Oops." He tried picking them all back up. "Is that food?" I asked and Josh nodded. "We got a whole buffet." They admitted and I looked at Jordan who was shocked. "Why?" Jordan asked. "Because he's special." They said happily and Jordan rolled her eyes. "We also got this table to set it up on." Ryder grabbed a packet off of the floor. "Why's it in a packet?" I asked and Jordan walked over. "That's a tent you dumbos." She said and slapped it out of his hands. They all let out a 'oh' but the rest of us wasn't surprised. "It can still work." Destiny said and picked it back up. "We can put all the food in the tent!" She suggested and we just agreed to do that because there was nothing else we can do.

It took forever but we finally set it up. It wasn't that bad. "Perfect!" The boy gang clapped. "You guys feel that?" Chris asked and we all put our hands out. "Oh no! No, no, no!" We all said, it started raining and everything was falling down from the wind. The tent was somehow the only thing that lasted. "We're not remaking it all! It took so long! He can appreciate that we at least tried." I said and Jordan and Chris agreed. The boy gang stuttered to get a sentence out. "And we need to see where Tayler is! We left him, remember?" Destiny said and we all forgot about that. "I forgot who we were actually doing this for not gonna lie." Chris said, scratching his head. Destiny called Tayler and he said he was back home. We waited for the bus to come in the pouring rain and then we went home. Destiny said that she was going back to Tayler's so we said okay and she started going back. "Wanna go to the park later after it stops raining?" Josh asked and we said okay. "Jordan, can I walk back with you?" Chris asked and she sighed. "Only if you run, my hairs getting wet and my shoes." She said and he nodded. We all knew that Chris wasn't going to make it running back home but either way, I went to Ryder's house and Parker and Josh went back to theirs.

Destiny's POV:

I opened Tayler's front door with the key his parents gave me a while ago and walked in. I asked his parents where he was and they said his room. I knocked on his door before opening it and I saw him packing his stuff. "Hey Tay!" I said and he looked at me and smiled. "Hey." He said and I ran over to hug him. "Why'd you guys leave me?" He asked. "We were planning something for you." I told him and he smiled. "Really?" He question. "Yes! And we're giving it to you tomorrow." He stood up and jamp up and down. "Oh my God! Yay! No one ever does stuff for me." He said and hugged me. "I know." I replied, realizing that maybe that wasn't the best thing to say but it happened. "So what you doing?" I asked and sat back down, him doing the same. "Packing for when I leave." He seemed sad but so was I. "I don't want you to leave, i'm gonna really miss you." I said and took his hand. "Me too, promise that we won't break up though." I could tell he was nervous on what I would say but I smiled at him. "I promise." I hugged him and looked back down at his suitcase. "It makes me wanna cry seeing that." I pointed at it and he agreed. I got a text from Jordan asking if I wanted to go to the park because the rain stopped surprisingly fast and I said yes. I asked her if Tayler could come and she said sure so he finished packing and we got up. "I'll pack the rest later." He said and we went to the park. Nothing good happened there except us all catching up with Chris so we weren't there for long. I decided to just stay the night at Tayler's because I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible before he left.
