16. Fake Love, Fake Friends

Stella's POV:

We're on the bus going to the skate park and I could tell Tayler was excited. Destiny gave away that we were planning something for him so he knew but he didn't know exactly what it was yet. We were a few miles away so Destiny put the blindfold on Tayler and he got even more excited.

We arrived and got off but Jordan was left to help Tayler off so she just told him to keep walking forward and didn't say that there's a step so he just fell out of the bus. We walked over and Destiny stood behind him, ready to take the blindfold off. "Thank you Tayler for everything you've done for us, you mean everything to us and we hope that you won't make any friends when you go to your new school so you won't forget about us." Parker started and the boy gang started to tear up, along with Destiny. Me, Jordan and Chris were trying not to laugh at him saying 'I hope you don't make any friends'. We all were told to count down from ten by Josh so we did and when we got to zero, Destiny took the blindfold off to reveal it all set up. The boy gang came last night and re done it because they wanted it perfect but the rest of us couldn't be bothered. "Woah!" Tayler said and walked into it. We had skateboards ready for all of us and bikes so that the ramps could be useful and stuff. "Thanks guys!" Tayler said and he seemed so happy about it, he hasn't been this happy since the day Destiny said yes to being his girlfriend. We all had a good time for the first little bit, Chris didn't understand how a skateboard worked so he had a temper tantrum and the boy gang eventually just started talking to each other while the rest of us were playing on the ramps and stuff.

Ryder's POV:

I was talking to the boys and we were saying about how now two of us are taken and two of us are single. "I'm technically dating Jordan." Josh said and we laughed. "Yeah, I'd say you are." Parker said and we laughed again. Whenever I mentioned Stella's name thought I'd see that Parker would give me a funny look. It's almost like he wasn't happy for me at all! I bet he was though, he isn't a fake friend. We kept going on about how we needed to find Parker a girlfriend and he kept trying to change the subject. "Come on! Tayler's got Destiny, I've got Stella and Josh has got Jordan. Why don't you take Chris." I suggested and he laughed. "He has a girlfriend." He said. "Oh yeah." I actually forgot about him and Penelope. Although, when I said Stella's name, Parker yet again gave me that strange look again and i'm assuming that Tayler noticed. "Why do you keep giving Ryder that look whenever he mentions his girlfriend?" He asked Parker and he shrugged. "Nothing." He said and Josh hit him. "Do you like her?" Josh asked and Parker looked at him then me but had no reply. "Wait, really?" I asked and he looked at me. "Sorry man, but we kind of hung out after we set stuff up last night and we got pretty close and now I have a crush. I still respect you guys though!" He tried playing it cool at the end. He has to be kidding me! He hung out with MY girlfriend, his "best friend" and he's basically hinting that he got her to cheat on me with him. "What!" I yelled and went up to him. "Sorry! I respect you guys!" Parker repeated, everyone came over. "No you don't! If you did then you wouldn't have got her to cheat on me!" I yelled again. Stella came over and pulled me away from him. "What's going on?" She asked. "You cheated on me with him." I was so mad right now. She didn't say anything. "Stella, we're over!" I said and walked out of the park. "Tayler I love you but I can't be here with them." I said, referring to Parker and Stella. She followed me out of the park and ran after me. "Ryder! Wait!" She chased me. "No Stella go away!" I pushed her and she kept following me. "Stop and talk to me! Please!" She begged. "Fine, you have two minutes." I said and she sighed. She told me that she was sorry and that she hated herself for doing it and that she wouldn't do it again. I didn't know what to believe. Do I leave her? "I'm not convinced, sorry." I turned back around and started walking again. "Ryder, can you at least consider getting back with me? You don't know how sorry I am!" She said and I sighed again. "I'll think." I told her. I was upset at myself, Parker and Stella! She went back to the park and I went back home and cried, debating on what I should do.

Stella's POV:

I went back to the park, I was mad at myself. But I was happy that he was gonna think about it. We pretend that it didn't happen and in stead kept celebrating Tayler because that's what this whole surprise was about. When I went home I kept trying to text Ryder but he just left me on read multiple times, I asked Jordan what I should do and she just told me to give him space so that's what I done. What did I get myself into?
