6. Coming Clean (twice)

Josh's POV:

I'm walking to Eden's house to go and see her, but with a catch. I'm bringing Jordan and we're going to tell her that i'm dumping her so me and Jordan can get back on the right path. Yeah, I took Jordan's hand while we were walking cause i'm a good guy. I could tell she hated it but I loved it so I didn't let go. We made it to her front door and Jordan stood behind me so you couldn't see her but she had to crouch because i'm quite small. She opened the door. "Hey Joshua!" (iykyk) She exclaimed and ran up to me, then Jordan stood up. "Hey bestie!" She said, mocking what Eden said to her in the lunch hall a few weeks back. "Why's she here?" Eden asked me with attitude and gave Jordan a dirty look. "Why are you being so mean to me recently?" Jordan pouted sarcastically, still mocking her. Eden rolled her eyes and grabbed my hand took me inside. "Not you!" She said to Jordan and slammed the door but I just opened it again. "Come on Jord." I said to her and she came inside and smirked at Eden. "Get out of my house!" Eden exclaimed and Jordan just walked past, a few years ago Jordan and Eden actually used to be close friends so Jordan just walked to her mum who she was still quite close with. "Hey Mandy!" I heard Jordan say in the kitchen and her mum said it back and I could hear them talking so I came clean to Eden. "Why did you bring her?" Eden asked me angrily. "For a reason, which i'm about to tell you." I prepared myself and Eden laughed. "What are you going to dump me for her?" She joked and I just stuttered. "Actually yes." I said and she slapped me and didn't say a word, she walked out as Jordan walked in. "Someone's mad." Jordan joked and I laughed. "Should we go then." I asked her and she nodded, we walked out as Jordan said bye to Mandy and she hugged me as soon as we got out the door. "You're the best." She said to me and I smiled. "Really?" I asked her and she smiled back. "Yeah, the best at making me uncomfortable." She said and I frowned. "What? It as so awkward in there!" She didn't lie but I thought she really meant it when she told me I was the best. "True." I said and we walked back to my place.


Stella's POV:

I'm at Parker's house because he told me that he'll do his part of our deal now that him and Jordan are officially over. He was going to get me with my crush today and I was so excited because it was kind of my dream, so he's making a few calls and getting everything set up until Jordan called me randomly. (P.S. it's a lot later from when Jordan and Josh went to Eden's and Stella already knows) I told Parker that i'd be a second and I went to his bathroom to answer it. "Hello?"

(S= Stella, J- Jordan)

J: STELLA GUESS WHAT OMG!
S: WHAT?
J: OK SO YOU KNOW HOW I WENT TO EDEN'S WITH JOSH
S: YEAH
Why are we shouting?
J: WELL, WHEN WE LEFT TAYLER TOLD JOSH SOMETHING THAT CHRIS TOLD HIM THAT PENELOPE TOLD HIM THAT PENELOPE'S FRIEND TOLD HER THAT PENELOPE'S FRIENDS BOYFRIEND TOLD HER THAT RYDER TOLD HIM THAT HE LIKES YOU.
S: WHAT
J: YEAH AND I FOUND OUT BECAUSE I STOLE JOSH'S PHONE
S: BUT HE'S DATING LAYLA
J: YEAH I KNOW BUT HE'S DOING THE SAME THING THAT JOSH DONE TO EDEN AND WHAT I DONE TO PARKER.
S: OH
J: YEAH
S: GOD SAVE ME

Parker shouted me through and I told Jordan I had to go, I was confused on where this came from but, sucks to be Ryder cause I like someone else. I went back into the main bit of Parker's room and sat beside him. "What?" I asked and he pointed to his computer and it was that my crush had seen the messages, I guess I should tell you his name at this point, his names Asher but he doesn't go to our school, I actually met him through Parker because they're friends. "I'm scared." I said and Parker laughed. "Don't be, he doesn't have a girlfriend or anything." He said and my eyes widened. "He has a girlfriend?" I asked and Parker looked around and nodded. "Well why are we messaging him?" Parker actually didn't look like he knew it was wrong. "Because they're relationships toxic, her names Luella and she's obsessed with herself." He explained, that name rung a bell and yeah, I think I know who she is. "I know her, I think." I said and Parker looked shocked. "You do?" He said and I nodded. "Describe her for me." I asked and he started. "She has platinum blonde hair, she has blue-green-ish eyes and does not look like our age and she looks like Asher not gonna lie." And when he said that, I knew I was right. "Yeah I know her, she's my toxic ex-bestfriend." Parker looked shocked again but then his face went back to normal. "That adds up, she's had so many ex friends in the past but she always claims them to be the toxic ones." That sounded like something Luella would do, but I know for a fact that I was never once toxic to her, i'd always do things for her but she'd never do anything in return, she'd always make it about her and If I said my opinion on anything then she wouldn't talk to me for a good two weeks if she didn't agree with me and I told Parker all that. "Yeah, she seems like she loves herself so much." Parker agreed and looked back at his computer. "Oh! He replied." He exclaimed and I looked back at the computer.

I see what Parker meant when he said their relationships toxic, the name Dela rang a bell as well, I'm pretty sure that she's Luella's half sister if i'm remembering correctly. "So is he coming this week or?" I asked Parker and he looked at me then the computer. "Well he said so, so i'm guessing yes." He said trying to be smart and I jamp up from Parker's bed. "Ahh! Thank you!" I hugged him because I was so happy and he smiled lightly. "Your welcome." I could tell he was sad, i'm guessing it was because I didn't manage to get him and Jordan together. "Sorry I failed my side of our deal but, I tried." I smiled and he looked at me and done it back. "Yeah, at least you'll have your first boyfriend." He joked and I death stared him. "Very funny." I nudged him, I've only had one boyfriend and that was like eight years ago so everyone always jokes that I've never had one because it wasn't really a normal relationship and we never really made it official. I left Parker's house and I went onto a call with Chris, Destiny and Jordan and told them all about it. "I'm so excited for you!" Destiny exclaimed and I thanked her. "Me too but if he's like really hot in person, sorry love but I'm taking your man." Jordan said and I couldn't tell if she was joking or not so I just laughed. "Maybe you'll have your first boyfriend!" Chris joked and clapped and Jordan and Destiny agreed, I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

Ryder's POV:

Today i'm with the boys, Josh, Tayler and Parker and we're going to Layla's because Josh inspired me to break up with Layla and stop using her and focus who I have a crush on (who you all know by now.), so I'm in her street. I'm terrified. I knocked on her door and she immediately opened it. Pretty much everything that happened with Josh and Eden happened except from her guessing who I'm going to leave her for because she wasn't with us. So yeah, we left and decided to go to the park but on the way there Parker needed to tell us something. "You know that Stella's crush is coming into town in a few days, sorry Ryder." He said, good timing Parker, of course I just broke up with my girlfriend (who I didn't even like but that's not the point) and now you're telling me this? Wow. "Oop!" Josh and Tayler exclaimed from behind us and I just looked at Parker. "Who? Asher?" I asked Parker and he nodded anxiously. "I'll beat him to death." I mumbled and Tayler gasped. "Violent." He said and we laughed. "You wanna text the groupchat and see if the rest of them want to come as well?" Josh suggested and we said ok so he texted them and I excited to tell them about me and Layla because ever since I started dating her, our friend group hasn't been the same and I kind of took a break from it but when I told them the truth, now hopefully everything well be back to normal. Key word, hopefully.
