24. I Have A Secret

Stella's POV

It's our last day of our summer break and we're all wanting to make the most of it. There's one thing we decided to try and work out today, why Jordan's keeping something from us. We don't know for sure if she's hiding something but whenever we mention the subject of her and Wyatt, she changed the subject.

Destiny told us last night that her and Chris supposedly caught Tayler cheating with whatever Luella's sister was called so we know that Destiny probably isn't going to be in the happiest mood but at least she's still coming. Yet again, Josh told us (me and Parker) that he can't walk with us because he's somewhere else and last time it wasn't good. But something seemed off, Chris got the same text from Jordan but yet again, Chris can be annoying so I don't blame Jordan if she doesn't want to walk with him.

Parker wanted to take a selfie with some cat he made friends with a few days ago when we saw it so I let him do his thing but he looked like a Facebook mom. Once he took the picture with the cat he said bye and came back over to me. "Thanks for letting me take the pic with the cat." He said and I nodded, I was still somewhat mad at him but now he's back in our friend group so I guess I'll be nice. "Why do you think Chris got the same text as you?" He asked me and I shrugged. "I don't know." I said and he looked at the sky then back at me and leaned into my ear. "You think they're dating?" He asked, Jesus his breath stinks. "Probably not, also why are you whispering no one's around us!" I said and he shushed me before pointing behind us where his cat friend was. I just sighed in response.

We made it to the park and everyone was already there, except for two. Jordan and Josh. "That's sus." Parker said and I laughed. "How?" I asked and he looked at me and pointed to the swings. "Jordan and Josh aren't here, when you and Chris got the same text!" He said and he did have a point. But isn't she dating Wyatt? "She's dating that Wyatt guy." I told him and he shook his head. "You never know, she could be cheating. Seems like something Jordan would do." He said then threw his hand over his mouth. "Don't tell her I said that!" He begged and I chuckled. "I will." I told him and walked down to the swings to the rest of them.

We sat at the swings for a bit until Chris saw that Jordan and Josh were coming, together. "What the-" Destiny said and we all turned to look. Holding hands? What's going on? I was confused because I thought she really really liked Wyatt but I guess I was wrong.

They came down and we said hi, none of us brought it up straight away. In stead we acted like we didn't notice but they were together the whole time! So, Ryder brought it up. "So, what's up with you two?" He asked and Jordan looked at Josh then Ryder. "What do you mean?" She questioned and Ryder gave her that look saying 'you know what I mean'. Jordan asked to talk to Josh for a minute so we all knew that something was definitely up.

Jordan's POV

I took Josh under the infamous tree to talk to him. Okay so, I have a secret. I basically told Josh that I "broke up" with Wyatt so that I could start talking to Josh again and use him! We've only been talking (for the hundredth time) for two days and I thought that now would be good to tell everyone because tomorrow I'm going to have to see Wyatt, which i'm excited about but I wanna tell everyone before I dump Josh. "Should we tell them?" I asked and he just shrugged. "If you wanna." He said so I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I walked back over and told them.

"Me and Josh are talking again." I said and everyone was shocked. "Congrats Josh." Parker and Ryder said and went and dapped him up. "Quick meeting I need to have with you three." Stella said and pointed to me, Destiny and Chris. I went over to all three of them and we went back under the infamous tree. I heard the boy gang asking Josh questions and saying how they'd tell Tayler but to be honest, I hope they don't, I'm still mad at Tayler for cheating on Destiny.

"What?" I asked and they all gave me a weird look. "I thought you were dating Wyatt!" Stella snapped and me and I put my hands out, telling her to calm down. "I am but Josh doesn't know that." I told them and Chris and Stella gave me a confused stare but Destiny seemed to understand. "Are you using him like what you done with Parker?" She asked me and I shook my head so now Destiny gave me the confused look. "I'm gonna break up with him tomorrow while i'm with Wyatt." I said, I thought it was funny and so did the rest. "That'll be so funny." Chris laughed and Destiny and Stella agreed.

Josh's POV

"We should tell Tayler!" Parker suggested and I said yes. "How long have you guys been talking?" Ryder asked. "Two days." I said, proudly. "Oh." Ryder said, I could tell he was expecting a lot longer. "Did you get her that yet?" He asked and I nodded. "Yup, i'm giving it to her tomorrow at school." I said and Parker and Ryder clapped. "You might actually keep her this time." Parker said and I laughed. "Yup."
