25. Happy Endings (For Some)

Stella's POV

It's the day back to school. The summer had a lot of ups and downs in it but i'm glad that we all stayed friends in the end. Me, Parker and Josh are going to our new school together and we couldn't wait. "There better not be any drama today." Josh said and we laughed. "Yeah, I wanna have a relaxed first day." Parker said. "Same." I replied.

We kept going and we went round the corner to the street just before the school and saw the rest of the group. "Hey!" We all said and ran up to each other. "I'm so excited for today." Chris clapped and we all said same. We walked in a row towards the school and took up the whole pavement but did we care? No.

We approached the gate of the highschool. "Wow." Josh said and we looked at him. "I didn't think I'd get here, I thought I would've dropped out a long time ago." He said and we laughed. Jordan was still going through with her plan to break Josh's heart right in front of her and Wyatt and it was mean but it was also funny.

Jordan's POV

We walked through the gates, still in a row. There was so many people! And they all got to watch me breaking Josh's heart. We went to the front door of the school and waited for it to start and wasted time by talking. I was talking to Stella and Destiny when Josh came up to me.

"Jordan, I got you something." He said and pulled a box out of his bag. What? I took the box from his hand and opened it slowly. Stella and Destiny came up behind me to see what it was. "Oh my God! No way!" I said and took it out the box.

It was the necklace I saw in the jewelry store that I couldn't afford. I was too happy to ask how he even got it. I was guessing that Ryder told him but I had no clue where he got the money from.

I was going in to hug him but I felt someone tap my shoulder. "Oop!" Chris said and I turned round to see who it was. Perfect timing. Wyatt. He had a massive bouquet of flowers for me which with a bear which had a tag saying my name on it, it was the bears name.

Instead of hugging Josh, I hugged Wyatt. Right infront of him. And to make it even better. "Aww babe! Thank you." I said and took the things out of his hands. I heard Destiny and Stella laugh, probably from whatever facial expression Josh had.

I don't know what it was but, I felt bad. I felt bad for doing this to Josh. He doesn't deserve it. I got out the hug with Wyatt and turned to Josh. "Dammit." I started, he looked so sad. What's wrong with me? I hugged him in a way that Wyatt knew it was friendly.

"I'm sorry Josh, I only started talking to you because I wanted to use you for stuff. But that was wrong, I'm sorry. You don't deserve it." I said and he smiled slightly.

I could tell that he was hurt by the fact that I was planning on using him but at the same time, I could tell that he was happy that I apologized because I never say sorry to anyone!

"It's okay, I guess, thanks for saying sorry." He smiled and everyone was silent. "I still feel bad!" I said, why was I like this?! "It's fine, honestly, I'm happy you said sorry." He smiled again and I done the same back and then hugged him. Is this a new era of me?

Stella's POV:

Josh and Jordan hugged it out as we all watched. It was so good to see that Jordan was being nice because maybe she's changing! Maybe this'll be her year! Who knows but when they finished hugging, Wyatt went up to me and Destiny. "She was talking to him?" He asked worriedly. "No, she was pretending to so that she could use him to do stupid stuff." I told him and he let out a 'oh' of realization. "Okay, I just thought that she was cheating." He fake laughed and Destiny slapped his arm. "She loves you, bud." She said and Wyatt went back over to Jordan.
