"She wanted, with her fickleness, to make my destruction constant; I want, by trying to destroy myself, to satisfy her desire."
             - Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra

"And you left your mark on me ...
With the destruction of us, finally,                 we became no one"
                 - Nadege Richards

"Our fate lies
in the hands
of the things we love
and sometimes
the things we love
are the things
that lead us
to the destruction
of ourselves"
- Robert M. Drake

When you're all but subjected to splinters jabbing your heart, it doesn't take long to become one yourself. Sometimes, the cure to inflicted pain is inflicting pain. Sometimes, the balm to deep wounds is giving them to someone else. Just sometimes, loving someone is all but destroying them.
