Chapter eighteen

Jade

We get to Nozu and sit down. Yn doesn't talk much but it's cos of her throat so it's understandable. We end up getting sushi and rice go share. I mean they put a lot on the plates of sushi.

Y/n's phone rings. She grabs her phone and then whines.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Tori." She says.

She answers and i move next to her.

"What?"

"Are you in Nozu?"

Y/n frowns.

"No."

"Well... you are. I can see you with Jade."

"You're in Nozu?" Y/n asks.

"....yeah."

Y/n looks at me. I shake ny head.

"What table are we sat in?"

"The group table."

"You're not in Nozu. And honestly, neither are we." Yn says.

She ends the call and holds her throat. We finish our food and go back to her place.

"You want a hot chocolate? To help soothe the throat problem?" I ask.

Y/n nods. I smile and make her a hot chocolate. We watch movies litterally all day.

It's fun.

Monday soon comes around though.

I go to my locker and see Y/n stood at hers. She's fiddling with her guitar. She puts it in her locker and turns around. She smiles at me. I smile. She walks over and wraps her arms around my waist. She lays her head on my shoulder.

"Morning Y/n/n."

"Morning Jade."

She lifts her head and we share a tiny kiss. I dont think I'll get used to kissing her with lip piercings.

"If the others think you're not forgiving me, i dont think we can be seen together. Y'know." I say.

Y/n pouts a little.

"Aw. Dont pout buba." I say.

Y/n smiles.

"That's new." She says.

"What's new?"

She clears her throat.

"Buba." Y/n says.

I shrug.

"You're a softie."

I gasp.

"You take that back." I demand.

Y/n pretends to think.

"Um.... no."

"Take it baaaack!"

"And say i dont. What happens then?"

"No cuddles. No movie nights." I say.

"You make a fair point. I do love cuddles. And i do love movie nights...."

I raise an eyebrow.

"Hmmmm..."

She does that thing she does when she's trying to think. She pokes her tongue out the side of her mouth. I find it reeeeally cute. It's literally adorable. I love it.

"Okay deal. I wont call you a softie again. But you cannot take my cuddle privileges away from me. That's just wrong." Y/n says.

I smile.

"You're literally the most adorable person ever." I say.

"Nope. That's Cat." Y/n says.

She shuts my locker.

"Hey i wasn't done in there." I say.

"Yeah well, we're goin to the asphalt cafe and you cant argue against it." Y/n says.

She takes my hand and yanks me to the cafe. We sit down at our normal table. Since Y/n "isn't forgiving me", i sit opposite her. The others join us and sit down. Cat sits next to Y/n. Tori sits on the other side of Y/n. Tori whispers something in Y/n's ear.

"Nope." Y/n says.

"Why?"

"I told you why Tori. I dont want to have to explain it again just cos you got Elephant brain." Y/n says.

Tori frowns. Y/n rolls her eyes.

"Big but useless." Y/n says.

I hold back a laugh by biting my bottom lip. My god her insults are next level...... I think she's spent a little too much time with me.

"Um... ouch. Did Jade teach you that insult?" Tori asks.

Y/n looks at me and back at Tori.

"I think you'll find that i am more than capable of thinking up insults. Just cos Jade is the insult queen doesn't mean she taught me the damn insult." Y/n says.

"Little snappy today dont ya think?" Beck says.

"Well, my throat hurts. I get snappy when my throat hurts." Y/n says.

That's true. She got a little snappy with me the other day but apologised immediately. I forgave her. Obviously.

"Did she ever get this snappy with you?" Robbie asks.

They all look at me. I look at Y/n and she has some form of worry in her eyes.

"And why do you wanna know this?" I ask.

"Just a question."

"Yeah well keep your questions about us to yourself. I dont wanna talk about us. Okay?"

I glance over at Y/n and she has a look of.... pride? Yeah. Pride in her eyes. That's sweet.

"Yeah." Cat says.

We look at Cat.

"What? They're not together anymore and they don't feel comfortable answering your stupid questions. I mean would you feel comfortable answering questions about us two if we broke up Robbie?" Cat asks.

We sit in shock.

"N-no."

"Exactly. So don't be asking them questions they dont wanna answer." Cat says.

We all look at Cat, shock radiating off us all.

"Thanks." Y/n says, smiling a little.

She hugs Cat. I smile a little. During Sikowitz's class, we find out that he's giving us an assignment. This should be interesting.
