Chapter fourteen

You

After school, me and Tori go get some food at Nozu. Jade has been trying to talk to me all day but I've been ignoring her.

She says she feels bad but did she feel bad while kissing him? Nope is the answer.

We're both sat eating trying to ignore our problem.

"This is fun. Tryna ignore the problem. Y'know, me and Jade went a while with out an issue. I'm getting better." I say.

Tori chuckles.

"Me and Beck went 18 months."

I clap. She laughs. After we finish, we split the cheque and decide to go for a very long walk. Our phones get absolutely exploded.

"Okay gimme."

I nab her phone and switch it off completely. Then i do the same for mine. I put them in my bag and we keep walking. We eventually get to her house and see Beck.

"Okay so we're not going to yours." I say.

Beck turns to us.

"Fuck. Run."

We both run and loose him. I climb into my normal sitting and drawing tree and help her up. We sit there for a few hours.

She ends up falling asleep and i just let her. She's sat against me and must be comfy so I'm not waking her up.

I manage to get my phone out of my bag. Jade and Beck have been blowing my phone up.

I ring Jade.

"YN?! Are you okay?!"

"Yeah we're find. Just stop calling me please."

"No Yn-"

"I said stop."

I end the call and put my phone away. I lay my head back on the tree and sigh.

The next morning, I'm still in the tree. I didn't sleep. Tori did though.

I mean, she looked like she needed it. She sits up, yawns and stretches. Her hair is insane right now.

She turns and jumps when she sees me.

"Dont jump too much. You might slip." I joke.

I let out an incredibly loud yawn.

"Did you sleep?"

"Nope."

She hits my shoulder.

"What was that for?" I ask.

"For not sleeping."

"Hey i had to protect us from the evil lurking around here." I say.

She laughs. We climb out of the tree and go to Nozu to get my car.

"Why'd we leave my car here?" I ask.

She shrugs. We get in the car and i drive to her house. When we get there, she goes in and runs upstairs. She gets changed and we go to my house.

I run upstairs and change.

I run downstairs and grab my keys. We get in my car and i drive.

"Okay can i ask, why the hell do you look so good in everything you wear?" Tori asks.

I laugh.

"If that's a compliment and not a question, thank you." I say.

She laughs. We get to school and spot Beck and Jade arguing. Our moods instantly drop.

"Do we- do we talk to them?" Tori asks.

"We could ditch."

They spot us.

"So do we ditch?" Tori asks.

"No. No we walk right past them." I say.

"But you said-"

"I know what i said. Just work with me Tori."

I pull the keys out my car and put them in my pocket. We climb out the car. They walk up to us and we keep walking. I pull Tori inside.

"Guys!" Cat shouts.

Her, Robbie and Andre walk over to us.

"Not the best time." Tori says.

We keep walking. Well, i keep pulling her. We get to the black box.

I then start pacing.

"Yn? Are you okay?"

I shake my head. She sits me down.

"Just breathe. I'll go get Lane."

I nod. She walks off. The door opens and Cat walks in.

"Hey."

She sits next to me and rests her head on my shoulder.

"I'm gunna yell at them for ya."

I smile.

"You dont have to Cat."

"I do and i will. They hurt my bestie."

"I'm your bestie?"

"I mean if you wanna be." She says.

"I'm a little scared cos you're acting pretty.... non crazy." I say.

She laughs in her normal chirpy laugh and i smile. Lane walks in followed by Tori.

"C'mon. You and Tori are gunna come sit in my office with me." Lane says.

I stand up.

"Hey you wanna come see my roommate after school? She's just as sarcastic as you." Cat says.

"I cant tell if that's a compliment but sure. I'll come visit your roommate." I say.

She smiles and hugs me. I smile. Me and Tori follow Lane to his office.

I spot Jade and Beck arguing at her locker. They look at us and their faces instantly soften.

I look away and we go into his office.
