About 5 years have passed. Lewis is just starting elementary school in about 2 months. Me and Jade haven't broken up. We're still together.
I'm now a singer and Jade is an actor.
I'm currently sat explaining relationships to Lewis.
"No no, Lewis, if a man and a woman are together- like kissy and huggy- they're boyfriend and girlfriend." I say.
"Mhmm. But can a man and a man be together? Can a girl and a girl be together?" Lewis asks.
"Of course they can. Me and your mama are together aren't we?" I say.
He nods.
"Exactly." I say.
"So... what if i liked a boy?" Lewis asks.
"Then you like a boy. And we'll love you. No matter what. Cos you're our little man." I say.
He giggles a little.
Jade walks downstairs.
"Good lord man you took your time." I say.
"Hey! I like to look nice." Jade says.
"It's a reunion with a few friends man. It's not like we're abouta meet the Queen of England any time soon." I say.
She swats my head. Lewis giggles.
"You've always found that funny." I mutter rubbing the back of my head.
"I love it how you complain about me taking my time and you're not ready yet." Jade says.
"It's takes me all of 15 minutes to get ready. You've just spent 2 hours getting ready." I say.
I stand up and go upstairs. I shower. My hair has been getting curlier and curlier lately. I'm starting to believe that my hair is just naturally curly now.
When i get out of the shower, i dry off my hair and get an outfit.

I go downstairs and grab my phone. There's a message
Cat: Hiii!! Me and Tori will be at Nozu soon.
Me: Okay See ya soon
"Cat and Tori are gunna be at Nozu soon. Let's take Lewis to your dads house." I say.
"Okay. Come on pumpkin! We're going to grandpa's house!" Jade shouts.
Lewis runs over and puts on his shoes. He loves grandpa West. That's his name to Lewis.
When we get to Jade's dad's house, i knock on the door. He opens it and smiles.
"How's my little monkey doing?" He asks.
I pass Lewis to him and smile.
"Thanks for taking him Mr West. We'll only be a few hours probably. I'll text you if the plans change." I say.
"Okay. You dont have to call me Mr West all the time."
I nod. He goes inside and shuts the door. I go back to the car. While i drive to Nozu, Jade has hold of my hand.
"Got any feeling back in it yet baby?" Jade asks.
I look at my hand.
"Almost."
Long story short, a few months ago, a car drove over my hand when i fell over in the road. Hurt like a motherfucker.
I turn left and park up in the parking lot just over from Nozu. We get out the car and walk in together.
"Think Mrs Wong still runs this place?" I ask.
She nods and points at someone.
"Well I'll be damned. Mrs Wong." I say.
"Look who it is!"
Me and Jade turn our heads left. People surround is asking for pictures and autographs. After a good 30 minutes, we finally sit down. With Tori, Beck, Andre, Cat and Robbie.
"You guys really are popular aren't you?" Tori asks.
"Ha ha. So funny." I say.
They laugh. We spend hours together. Hanging out and having a few drinks. We end up going back to mine and Jade's house.
Movie night. Drinks. Popcorn. Pizza and just a whole load of catching up to do.
I've missed these guys. So much. And my god i couldn't have wished for better people to have in my life.
I love my life. I love my girl. I love my kid. And i love my friends.
"Y'know... i dont care how cheesy this sounds but i love you guys. I got lucky having you guys apart of my life and honestly, i couldn't have asked for a better set of people in my life." I say.
They smile.
"We love you too." Tori says.
I smile.
And that's why i like my friends. That's why i got lucky.
