It was a typical early Thursday afternoon. EB was taped for the Thursday and Friday shows, something to do with some repairs that needed to be done at the studio.
M: Daddy sure ka ha?
R: Yes Mommy. Go, have fun. Make sure yung masahista nyo babae ha.
M: *laughs* Jusko naman Love, sa tanda kong to, sino pa magkaka gusto sakin?
R: Ma naman, napakaganda mo. Ang sexy pa. Ang hot mama mo kaya. Di ba til now kinukulit ka pa din ng FHM?
M: San banda ang hot? Ang maganda? Anim na anak ko Ricardo, tigilan mo ko. At yang FHM, yung pictures ko pa yata nung 24 years old pa ako ang huling nakita ng mga yan.
R: Hay Mommy, maganda ka. Magandang maganda. If you ever doubt that, just look at our children, may pangit ba dyan? Wala di ba? Maganda kasi nanay nila.
M: *laughs* Lahat naman kamukha mo, kaya wala talagang pangit sa mga anak ko.
R: Yes, and I have excellent taste in women. One woman in particular, my wife, the mother of my kids. Case close. *kisses M*
M: Pero Daddy sure ka ba talaga? I can always cancel maaga pa naman. My sisters, Riza and Angel will understand.
R: Ma, you had that spa date with the girls planned for weeks. So go.
M: Are you sure?
R: Bakit parang wala kang tiwala sakin bantayan mga anak ko?
M: *chuckles* Hindi naman sa walang tiwala, eto naman. You might have sudden things that you need to do.
R: Wala. Go. Basta uwi ka lang ng maaga.
M: I'll be home early.
R: Make sure you do. *kisses M*
So there they were with Maine spending a rare afternoon off with her sisters and sisters in law for a spa day but promised her husband and her kids that she'll be home early.
RJ opted to stay was home with the three youngest kids. Thirdy, Theo and Aycee were at school and would be home later.
Five year old twins, Sebastian and Siegfried who have no school today, and two year old Chuchay were playing a learning game on the computer in the library. With the three younger kids occupied, RJ figured he had a few minutes to check his work e-mail in his home office, which is just a few steps away from where the kids are.
Among the e-mails was a protocol questionnaire from the McDonald's headquarters. RJ listened and heard the video game still playing. He clicked reply to respond to the email when his mobile rang.
M: *on cp* Hi Love!
R: Hi Love! Everything ok?
M: Yup! Just wanna check on you and the kids.
