RJ had finished his show at San Rafael, Bulacan. His wife Maine had initially wanted to go with him at least until Sta. Maria, stay at her family's house and wait for him there. But he said no, he wanted her to rest and catch up on her sleep. She barely had enough rest for the past few weeks because of her heavy workload. So she stayed put at their condo as RJ wanted and slept the whole day instead.
RJ arrived at their condo around 2am and tiptoed softly to their bed after a quick shower. He is bone tired and weary - both body and soul.
R: *lies beside M, kisses her neck and wraps his arms around her waist*
M: *awakens* Hmm..
R: Sorry Ma, go back to sleep *kisses her cheeks*
M: *eyes still close* Kadarating mo lang?
R: Hmm.. *snuggles into M's neck, sighing deeply*
M: *a hand reached out for R* Love? What's wrong?
R: Nothing. Go back to sleep.
M: That's not a "nothing" sigh. Anong problema?
R: *sighs deeply again and tightens his "spoon" on M*
M: *turns around to face R* What happened? You know I will find out anyway. *tries reaching for her phone*
R: *sighs and holds M's hand instead* I lost my rosary bracelet. Nahila sya kanina sa dami ng tao sa show, napigtas. Bigay mo sakin yun eh. *getting teary eyed*
M: Oh I'm sorry to hear that love. *hugs R tightly* What can I do to make you feel better?
R: Just let me hold you Ma.. *hugs M and cries*
M: *hugs R back* Shhh.. it's alright my love. Whoever picked it up sana ayusin nya and may it bring luck to that person too, like it did to you, to us.
R: Ikaw nagbigay sakin nun eh. *still crying*
M: Dad, Hayaan mo na, maybe someone is in need of it more than you do.
R: Ma, I'm scared.
M: Scared? Of what?
R: Yung huling nawala na bracelet is the puca. Anong nangyari sa atin after you lost that? We broke up. Baka mangyari yun ulit.
M: Daddy, may I just remind you that we are already married.
R: Bakit may mga mag asawa naman na nagkakahiwalay ah.
M: Gusto mo ba?
R: Ma naman! Don't say that! Ayoko ng ganyang biro!
M: *chuckles softly* O di hindi. Why, are we going to allow ourselves again to reach that point?
R: No, never again! Mamamatay muna ko!
M: Yun naman pala eh, so rest your mind. Hayaan mo papalitan ko nalang ng iba. May isa lang akong pakiusap sayo. Pag binigyan na kita ng baby wag mong iwawala ha. Sasapakin talaga kita pag nawala mo si Thirdy o si Athena. *chuckles*
R: Bakit ko naman iwawa.. teka! Meron na ba?? *presses his palm on M's tummy*
M: Wala pa po. Gusto ko lang mag smile ka. *smiles* Next year pa plans natin di ba? Kaya nga nagpapaka busy na tayo now kasi next year tayo naman dalawa ang aasikasuhin natin.
R: Akala ko naman.. *smiles and pinches M's nose lightly*
M: Inuunahan lang kita. Ayan nag smile na, ang gwapo talaga. *grins and holds R's cheeks* I love you RJ ko.. *kisses R* Yung isang rosary bracelet mo, nasa jewelry case ko I put it in a blue velvet box, suot mo muna yun, yung kay mommy Rio. And I'm pretty sure with what was lost, you'll get back something much better.
R: *hugs M tightly* What would I do without you? I love you so much Nicomaine ko.. *kisses M*
M: And I love you so much more.. *kisses R back*
R: Naistorbo ko na tulog mo, sige na go back to sleep na Ma, maaga ka pa ulit mamaya. Hatid kita sa shoot.
M: Wag na. Your turn to rest and catch up on sleep. Matulog ka nalang.
R: Nope, gonna bring my beautiful wife to work later even though it's a sunday. Then balik dito, tutulog ulit saglit. Tapos sunduin kita pag tapos ka na, kasi may date tayo.
M: Hmm, I actually like that. *beams*
R: Kaya sige na misis ko, sleep na ulit *puts his palm over M's eyes* I love you so much.. *kisses M*
M: I love you mister ko.. *kisses R and snuggles into his warm chest, both of them succumbing to slumber*
