A week and a half had passed since RJ and Maine agreed to have their 3 older kids be interviewed by Candy Magazine. Emails, phone calls and a visit were flying in between Maine and Candy Mag's editor in chief Sam Potenciano with regards to their conditions - mostly RJ's - for the interview, and finally an agreement has been met to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Thirdy, Theo and Aycee were told by their parents of the final date of the interview three days prior. Aycee especially was all agog with excitement. She was bugging her Mom on what she would wear, what she should say, what if she doesn't like the question- would they think she's a snob if she doesn't answer? How much smile is too much of a smile or a laugh for that matter? She also doesn't want to appear too crazy either. What if Kuya Thirdy or Kuya Theo teases her too much and she blows her fuse and ends up crying? That'll be too embarassing! And she doesn't want the interviewers to think she's a crybaby either. Most of all, she wants Mom and Dad to be proud of her.
Maine kept re-assuring her elder daughter that they are proud of all of them no matter what. It doesn't help either that her Dad has been kinda grumpy about the said interview. She tries not to ask him questions, afraid that her constant prattling might set him off. And unlike her, her two older brothers, Thirdy and Theo were very cool about it. Aycee doesn't sense any nervousness at all from them.
R: *reading through the interview pointers and frowning* Bakit kasi kelangan tanungin pa ng mga crushes na yan? Di pa pwedeng mag boypren ang anak ko!
M: Daddy.. crushes doesn't mean boyfriend or girlfriend kagad. Eto namang taong to parang di ka naman dumaan sa ganyan dati. Pwede naman celebrity crushes, dami mo nga ganyan nun. Ikaw nga celebrity crush ni Coleen saka ni Ate Niki dati. Naging crush din kita ah. Di naman automatic bf o gf na yun.
R: Crush mo ko, naging boyfriend mo kaya ako. Asawa pa.
M: Iba naman yung sa atin. Tsk, when did you became such a grumpy old man?
