He ran a hand through his hair took a deep breath.
"Dad, Let's go." Ava squeezed his hand.
He nodded.
Once outside, Everyone started telling him about how sad they were for his loss and he had to be strong.
"Are you okay?" He eyed the woman standing in front of him.
He didn't reply but wrapped his arms around her.
"We'll always be with you, you know that right?" She asked.
"I know." He whispered.
She pulled away.
"Where's Aiden?"
"He's in his room, He'll come when he's ready."
Amanda nodded.
He started walking towards the casket.
Every step was agony.
He wished over and over again that it wasn't real.
That he'd wake up and the love of his life would be lying right next to him.
He reached the casket and looked at her.
Why is she lying there like this?
Why won't she open her eyes?
Why won't she tell him not to cry?
Tears blurred his vision but he didn't wipe them away.
"Hannah." He whispered.
His knees buckled and he fell down beside her.
"Daddy." Ava wrapped her arms around him.
"Why would she leave me like this?" He asked, tears running down his cheeks.
Ava started sobbing and Jung closed his eyes.
Was it a nightmare?
"Aiden?" Amy knocked on his bedroom door.
She could hear him sobbing.
"I'm coming in." She called, as she opened the door.
She entered the bedroom and looked around.
He was nowhere to be seen but she knew where she would find him.
She walked towards the closet room and opened the door.
"Aiden?" She looked at him, there he was sitting curled up on the floor.
He was sobbing uncontrollably.
Amanda sat down beside him and ruffled his hair.
She knew, whenever he would be sad he would hide in his closet room.
Aiden's eyes met with Amanda's.
His eyes were red.
"Oh, Dedo." Amanda wrapped her arms around him and let him cry on her shoulder.
Several moments later he pulled away and looked at Amanda.
"I don't know what to do," He whispered.
Amanda didn't say anything.
"It's like I lost my way, What am I going to do? What are we going to do without her?" He asked.
"You have your father, Ava and you have us. I know, Dedo that no one can replace your mother. But we all have to be strong."
"How? Amsie, how can I be strong? She was my strength." New tears formed in his eyes and he wiped them away.
