"Jung's going to Korea with his mother for a while," Ansel told her and she looked at him.

"It'll do him good, right?" She asked.

Ansel shook his head.

"Not at all, they went to Korea together every single year. It'll remind him of her even more."

"You're right, Ansel I'm worried about Aiden and Ava."

"They're doing alright. They're even leaving for college next week."

"Well, It's just too hard."

"They're fine, Amanda. They're healing now. Actually, I'm more concerned about Elijah."

Amy frowned.

"Why? He seems alright."

"That's the actual point, he seems alright but he isn't."

"I don't understand."

"How would you understand? You're so worried about Jung and everyone else except for your kids and husband."

"What the hell, Ansel?"

"You're acting like their mother. But you're not paying any attention to your own family."

Amanda stood up and faced her husband.

"You're doing it again. You're letting your jealousy get the best of you."

"For God's sake, Amanda. I'm not jealous."

Amy rolled her eyes.

"I don't think this is working out."

And this sentence left Ansel James Luck breathless.

"What?"

"I need some space, Ans."

"You never call me Ans. What's wrong Amy?"

"And you never call me Amy. I need space, Ansel. You're never really here. You never spend time with me. Or even with the kids. Ethan never really seems to like it when you hold him because he doesn't recognize you well enough. You're always working. Despite being told by me that it's you that we need but you never really listen to me. I'm just tired of being here, with the kids asking me where you are. I'm tired of wondering if you're having an affair or... " She stopped and looked at Ansel.

His face was expressionless.

"So, you're leaving me because I'm not here with you? Or if I'm having an affair? How could you even think that?" He asked.

"Ansel."

"When will you stop running? Stop running from me, to be precise."

"I'm not running from you," Amy whispered.

"You are, Amanda. First, it was because of you know what, and now it's because you can't wait for me anymore."

"That's not what I said!" She shouted.

"Twenty-five years."

"Huh?"

"I've known you for twenty-five years. Amanda. And you really think that I wouldn't know what you are trying to say?"

She closed her eyes and a tear leaked from the corner of her eye.

"Ansel."

"Take your time. But let me tell you one thing Amanda Luck, I'm not letting you go. By that I mean, I'm not letting you move out of my life. It's us we are talking about and we are forever. We promised each other that we'll stay together and love each other forever. Even in the hard times." He put emphasis on hard times "I'm not going to break that promise and neither am I going to let you break it. Do you understand me? " He took a step towards her and cupped her face in his hands.
