55. Worthy

There's water rushing at Leia's feet as she ploughs through trying to find an escape route. She sees red light and runs right at it hoping for an exit. She crashes into a tunnel and looks both ways, hearing faint growls in the distance her eyes grow wide. The scampering of feet are her indicator to run. She sprints through the dimly lit tunnel and around twists and turns. She looks behind her and sees the Outriders which they fought in Wakanda many years ago.
"You've got to be kidding me." She growls sending blue blasts knocking every one of them backwards.
Leia can feel a cool breeze suddenly and as she turns the corner sees natural light coming through a hole in the tunnel. He sends one final almighty blast at the Outriders killing them all and jumps through the hole out above ground.

Rocket and Rhodey huff as they take their last breath.
"See you on the other side man." Rhodey mumbles. Rocket whimpers and groans, he doesn't want to die like this!
"Hang on! I'm coming!" Scott yells, floating down the rushing channel on a small piece of debris.

Clint runs through the tunnels grasping the gauntlet tightly. The Outriders are gaining on him quickly. He plants a few arrows as he runs and their high pitched beeping sounds before blowing up, sending the tunnel into flames.
The Outriders burn but it does nothing to phase them. Clint shoots a wire up the high tunnel propelling himself upwards. The monsters chase after him but he takes each one out with his sword. Hauling himself up onto the platform he yells out to any potential monsters that followed, but they all fall dead. He grunts rolling onto his back dropping the sword by his side.

Clint sighs out as 2014 Nebula walks up to him.
"Oh hey. I know you." He huffs letting her take the gauntlet from his grasp.
She puts her fingers to her ear, activating her coms. "Father... I have the stones."
Clint's eyes grow slightly wide. "What?" He tries to get up but Nebula's booted foot holds him down. She draws a gun and holds it towards his head.

"Stop." Another female voice enters the equation. 2014 Gamora walks into the red room also with a gun drawn. Nebula steps around Clint but the gun remains on him.
"You're betraying us?" She asks and her attention is caught by present day Nebula walking in with her hands up. She redirects her gun at her which gives Clint the opportunity to jump up.

"You don't have to do this." Present Nebula says.
"I am this." 2014 Nebula counters.
"No, you're not." Gamora adds.
"You've seen what we become."
"Nebula listen to her." Gamora says to her sister.
"You can change." Present Nebula still holds her hands up in surrender. 2014 Nebula's eyes fill with tears. Gamora drops her gun as her sister fights her emotions.
"He won't let me." She says quickly pointing her gun at Gamora.
"No!" She yells but present Nebula fires a gun at her past self, right through the heart. She groans hitting the fence behind her and slowly falling down. Clint retakes the gauntlet with a shaky breath.

Tony lands hard in the dirt and his technology expands on his back. "Okay Thor, hit me!"
Thor crashes Stormbreaker and Mjolnir together harnessing his lightning and sending it towards Tony. His suit harnesses the energy and he shoots it out of his repulsers and arc reactor in his chest. Thanos twirls his blade fast to deflect the energy.
Thanos grasp ahold of Tony and attempts to inflict injuries. However Thor uses Stormbreaker to bat Mjolnir sending Tony flying out of the Titan's grip. Mjolnir lands firmly on the ground several yards away.
"Boss, wake up!" Friday says to Tony who's knocked out.
Steve attacks Thanos quickly, landing a few swift punches before Thanos lays his fist against Cap's shield throwing Steve back into a large rock and he grunts from the force of impact.

Thanos boomerangs his weapon towards Thor but he ducks out the way sliding beneath it. He catches it as Thor tries to strike him with Stormbreaker, blocking his movements. He forces the axe out of Thor's hands and throws the god into a fallen tree trunk. Thanos discards his own weapon and uses his fists to take on the god. He punches Thor in the face multiple times before throwing him across into another rock. Thor tries to stand but the Titan kicks him down continuing to land blow after blow to his battered face. The god holds his hand out summoning Stormbreaker but Thanos catches it before it can meet his grasp. He pushes the axe towards Thor's chest but he rivals the Titan in strength holding it. Slowly Thanos starts to gain the upper hand and pushes the axe further down, breaking the material of his armor.
Mjolnir lays dormant where it landed several minutes ago, before it slowly starts to rise. Thor uses both his hands to prevent the axe from penetrating his flesh. When suddenly Thanos is knocked aside by a harsh blow from Mjolnir. It halts in the air as it flies back returning to its wielders hand. Steve grasps the handle and looks at Thanos with a deathly glare.
