"I'm getting heat signatures coming your way,
Russo." Tony speaks into the comms, watching the red shadows move closer and closer to Sofia's mark. "Russo?"

"Give me one second." Sofia strains, attempting to break the iron lock on the door. "I just need... one second."

Just as the metal splits in two, a crowd of agents dart around the corner and immediately begin to shoot in her direction. "AGENT RUSSO!"

"I'm okay! I'm okay."

"Can you hold on? Me and Nat are 40 seconds out." Clint speaks, firing arrow after arrow at agents on the left, while Natasha takes the right.

"I'm good. I'm gonna keep moving."

"Wait for back up." Steve orders but it falls on silence. "Agent Russo, it's an order to wait for back up."

"Is this really how your missions work? You spend all this time chatting through here. Sounds boring to me." Sofia huffs, casually dodging a bullet that busted through the glass window on her right.

"Pretty much." Tony laughs, while Steve protests.

"Absolutely not. We're a team and we know how to communicate well. Something you clearly lack, Agent Russo."

"Ooo, we are proud Captain Rogers." She mocks, hearing the sound of fighting behind the door and knowing Clint and Nat had arrived. "You're late. Let's go."

"Where the hell are we going?" The redhead questions, still following and trusting the agent in to the unknown.

"According to the files, there are some tunnels that run below the basement. If I know HYDRA, which I do, they've got something to hide down there."

"How safe?"

"Well considering we're already in a HYDRA hotspot, I'd say not very." Clint rolls his eyes at the brunette's sarcasm. "But the mission was to get as much information as possible and take out any remaining agents so, off we go."

"So how far?"

"You're just full of questions, aren't you Agent Barton? If I'm correct, which again I usually am, behind this door should be the back staircase." With a hard shove on the stiff lock adorning the door, it swings open to reveal a staircase. "This should lead us down to the bottom, there should be a door to the basement and then a hatch and voila."

"We're heading down to some secret tunnels Agent Russo has discovered. We could need back up, anybody stand by?" Natasha speaks into her earpiece, still leaving her trust in Sofia.

"On our way." Steve replies, hurrying down past the path of agents that the trio had clearly taken out. "Wanda and Sam are on route."

"I'm preoccupied." Tony grunts, clearly still having trouble with the HYDRA security that were guarding the building.

By the time Steve had caught up, Sofia and Clint were both attempting to pull up the hatch while Natasha was gathering any evidence in the basement. "Let me."

Standing back, the two watched as the super soldier split the lock with his shield, revealing a vertical ladder into darkness. "Ta-daaaa. I told you."

"Good work, Agent Russo." Rolling her eyes at the name, she immediately went to hop down the stairs but her arm was caught. "I'll go first."

"Yeah, nope Cap! This is my find!"

"We're a team, Russo."

"No, YOU'RE a team. I'm helping you out."

"And you'd be helping by letting me go down first with the shield. You don't know what's down there."

"As someone who trained with HYDRA for over ten years, I know exactly the kind of thing that will be down there."

"Russo." Natasha sighs, agreeing with the girl but this was how missions went. Steve was their captain, after all.

"Of course, Agent Romanoff. Please almighty super solider, lead the way."

With a grunt, Steve headed into the dark, Clint on his tail and Natasha preparing to go next. "We have a situation." Sam's voice echos in Sofia's earpiece, making her jolt upright.

"What kind of situation?"

"There's agents everywhere. We were outrun." He heaves. "I took a left and when I turned, she wasn't there."

"Wanda? Can you hear me? Agent Maximoff?" Sofia almost growls into her earpiece, hoping the redhead would have found a safe place to hide.

"Wanda? Do you copy?" Natasha repeats.

"This is her first real mission and she's already been left behind." Sofia kicks a vacant chair, watching it smash against the wall. "How the hell did he lose her?!"

"Hey, it wasn't his fault. We don't know what happened. Take a breath, Sofia." Natasha whispers, needing the girl to calm down.

"Natasha! We could do with your help!" Steve's voice echoes up the tunnel. "Nat?"

"Go." Sofia nods, passing Natasha her gun that lays beside the hatch. "Go. I'm gonna go help."

"But-"

"Natasha, they need you." Sofia reassures. "And Wanda needs... me so." With one final look, the redhead heads down the ladder while the brunette takes a breath before heading back up the staircase.

Don't be hurt, Wanda. Please don't be hurt.
