ETHANS POINT OF VEIW
“Ser. Come back! He isn’t going to hurt you I promise!” I tried to get through to her.
“ Leave me the fuck alone Ethan, you have no idea what he was going to do to me, “mine” what the hell is that supposed to mean he doesn’t even know me and yet you were willing to give me up to him, but not only me but also your son or daughter. YOU ARE DEAD TO ME ETHAN. Never talk to me again.”
Her words spun in endless spirals in my head. She couldn’t mean that, she had to know that I would never endanger her…
I was ripped from my thoughts when the white wolf returned, speaking to me for the first time.
“WHERE IS SHE?” He demanded.
“I believe she went home, I’m not sure though. I could take you to the pack house if you’d like”. I said.
He nodded in agreement.
“I’m Ethan by the way.” I said, reaching for his hand.
“Jacobe”. He stated shaking my hand briefly, and then he shifted and nudged for me to lead the way.
Jacobe’s POV
I was coming through the woods headed back to the house when I heard the reports of trespassers on or outer territory. Instantly I ran to where they were spotted ready for a fight that is until I caught the scent of the most enduring smell I have ever had the pleasure of breathing in. It smelled like the ocean and summer. I took a deep breath following the scent to see who was at the other end of it.
I emerged from the trees to come face to face with a pure black wolf standing protectively in front of a black and grey wolf with the most piercing blue eyes that seemed as if they could peer into my soul.
Without hesitation I shifted back to my human form and demanded them to shift, unhappy about the male standing closer to the beauty that was standing in front me. I felt a growl escape my lips
“Mine”, I growled, and the male backed off. The girl however looked heartbroken for just a split second before pure outrage burst through her. She immediately shifted back to wolf form and took off running. I stood in shock for a moment wondering why my mate, the one person made specifically for me ran from me. Then my wolf took over and I was running after her leaving the male standing there.
She had masked her scent very well; even with alpha blood I couldn’t detect it. I ran back to where the man was standing.
“WHERE IS SHE?!” I growled.
“I believe she went home, I’m not sure though. I could take you to the pack house if you’d like”. He said calmly.
I nodded in agreement.
“I’m Ethan by the way.” He said, reaching for my hand.
“Jacobe,” I replied before I shifted nudging him to lead the way.
We ran in silence for what seemed like forever until her scent hit me, my wolf howled in pleasure just to be close to her.
SERENITY’S POINT OF VIEW
I ran all the way home in record time, but instead of running to my room I ran to my brother. Even if Ethan wouldn’t protect me, I knew he would.
“Aiden!” I screamed trying to catch my breath as a barged into his room.
Instantly he ran to me wrapping me in a hug.
“Ser. What happened why are you crying”, he asked worried. Then realizing I was naked he wrapped his bath robe around me.
More sobs overcame me as I crumbled and fell to his bed.
“Ethan…” I cried.
“Ser what happened to Ethan!” he screamed.
Ethan and Aiden had always been extremely close.
“He... he… he dumped me,” I barely managed to spit out.
Aiden sat there in shock as I told him everything that had happened including the strange wolf. Anger flashed through his eyes. Ethan was his best friend and he failed to protect the one thing that had meant the most to him in this world. Me.
Aiden jumped up screaming, “HE JUST BOWED DOWN!” he screamed, “IM GOING TO KILL THAT MOTHER FUCKER!”
He swung the door open to find Ethan and the stranger approaches his door. Aiden immediately pushed me behind him growling lowly.
Aiden was 6 foot 2 and extremely built. He had grey eyes that turned black when his wolf took control. His black hair and dark completion matched perfectly, we actually looked a lot alike.
“What the hell were you thinking bringing him here Ethan”, Aiden yelled, infuriated through our mind link.
“Let me explain”, he pleaded.
“Like you explained to Ser. How you suddenly just don’t love her anymore?!” he screamed.
That was all it took, Aiden then had Ethan against the way by his throat.
After that it all went black.
