Serenity’s pov:

"Serenity I love you" Jacobe whispers.  

"I love you too" I moan as he nibbles tenderly down my neck.

He picks me up and I wrap my feet around his waist as he puts my back against the wall.

He slowly starts kissing my neck as I run my fingers through his hair I bite down on his neck and a little moan escapes. He moves over to the bed and gently lays me down. He starts to unbutton his shirt.

The sight of his body sends chills up my spine. So cut. His 6 pack glistens in the moon light. He crawls up the bed and gets on top of me. He kisses me and starts a trail down my neck he gently pulls my shirt off and throws it to the side.

I giggle and he picks back up with the trail of kisses going between my breasts. Down my tummy. When he gets to the waist of my jeans he slowly starts to unbutton them.

I start to moan as he slips them off followed by slipping off his. He rubs my thighs and starts to crawl back up the bed.

The door opens and we both freeze.

"Ethan" I scream.  

He shakes his head and turns around and slams the door shut behind him.

I wake up with sweat pouring off my body.

"It was just a dream" I whisper to myself.

I get up and walk over to the bathroom. I need a cold shower.

Jacobe’s POV:

I couldn’t sleep all night. I kept feeling her through our bond. Passion. Lust. Love. She had to be with Ethan. What does he have that I don’t? I’m an alpha. He’s a beta. Can’t she see I’m the one that she needs?

I look at the clock. 3 am. I can’t go to her now. 

I will talk to her tomorrow. I will convince her to let me take her out. I will make sure she knows that I love Jace just as much as I do her. He is a part of her. I will make her mine.

Serenity’s POV:  

I finish with my shower and am still burning up. Heat. I think to myself. I’ve met my true mate and now I’m in heat. I get dressed and decide to go get some food. I check on Jace and plug in the monitor. I walk to the kitchen and make a sandwich. I sit down on the couch and watch TV.

I drift off to sleep without realizing it. I hear Jace crying through the baby monitor and wake up. I look at the clock 7:26 am. I head up to his room for a feeding. I hear moaning in the stair well on the third floor.

"Who the hell is moaning in a common area at 7 in the morning"? I think.

I walk around the corner and say "don’t you know people are trying..."

I freeze. I’m standing face to face with my worst nightmare.

"How could you!" I scream as I run back to my room.
