Serenity’s POV
“Serenity Dawn Star, will you please forgive me for my stupidity and do I the honor of being my wife?” Ethan begged.
I was in complete and utter shock.
“I…”I started but got interrupted by Jacobe.
“SHES MY MATE! NO SHE WONT MARRY YOU!” Jacobe growled
“SHES CARRYING MY CHILD! I FUCKING LOVE HER!” Ethan growled back
I went to speak but as I opened my mouth my best friend burst through the door.
“SERENITY!” she shrieked.
“Cherokee?” I asked confused. “I thought you were in Paris?”
“Forget that! What happened!? Is the baby okay? WHY DIDN’T ANY OF YOU CALL ME!” she screamed as she glared at Ethan and Aiden.
“Ser?” Ethan asked. “Will you?”
“NO!” Jacobe growled.
“Whoa. Wait who in the hell are you?!” she asked Jacobe.
“I am her mate!” he yelled back at her.
“I thought Ethan was you’re…” she started but stopped as I shed a few silent tears.
“EVERYBODY OUT!” she screamed “I need to be alone with my best friend for a moment.”
The boys all opened their mouths to protest but decided against it.
Cherokee hugged me.
“What happened?” she asked tenderly.
I broke into sobs and explained everything.
She looked at me mouth ajar for about 3 minutes and finally she said, “What are you going to do?”
“I… I’m going to marry Ethan.” I said trying to sound confident.
“What about Nicole and Jacobe?” she reluctantly asked.
“What about them?” I sneered. “They can marry each other for all I care.”
“Jacobe is your mate though…” she started.
“NO! Ethan is my mate! I love him with every fiber of my being!” I snapped at her. “And Nicole is a home wrecking whore! She can burn in hell for all I care!”
“Okay sweetie calm down,” she whispered. “Do you want me to send Ethan in so you can talk?”
I nodded.
Ethan’s POV
Cherokee walked out the door and looked at me.
“She wants to talk to you,” she said. As Jacobe started for the door “Alone.”
“But...” Jacobe started to protest.
“Back off wolf boy!” She glared at him. “You can go in, in a minute.”
I slowly walked into the room and looked at Serenity.
“Did you really mean it Ethan?” she asked in a whisper.
“Yes Ser I love you and I want to spend every day of the rest of my life with you.” I answered
She smiled.
“And Nicole?” she asked reluctantly.
“She means nothing to me baby. It’s you, it’s always been you.” I said grabbing her hand.
She nodded.
“In that case, yes Ethan, I would be honored to spend every day of forever with you”.
