( A Surprise Stowaway )

"Mommy, could you tell me another story?" I looked up at my mother, holding out the flower crown I had been working on, adding a few more flowers to finish it up. "Another?"

I nodded eagerly, my eyes shining with anticipation. "Hmm, let me think," she said, turning her head to the side as she continued working on her own flower crown. I couldn't help but smile, thinking of a story I hadn't heard before. "Oh, Mama, can you please tell me the one about how you met dada?"

Her smile widened as she looked down at me. She chuckled softly, "I haven't told you that one yet?" I shook my head, my excitement growing. She paused for a moment, her gaze fixed on me with a mother's warmth. "Alright. We met on a boat ride. You see, my family had gone to Hawaii for a vacation."

I raised a brow, a hint of confusion in my expression. "But where did you meet dadda?" I asked. She laughed at my innocence. "I'm getting there, Celest," she reassured me with a gentle smile.

"Your dad was one of the tour guides on the boat," she continued. "I happened to be in the same group as him. He was a bit shy, so I was the first one to strike up a conversation with him. And from that moment, I found someone to love, though I didn't realize it at the time."

I couldn't help but be enchanted by my mother's storytelling. But I still had countless questions about their relationship, like how they stayed in touch and whether my dad had pursued her or if it was the other way around. My mind was racing with curiosity, and I was lost in thought, my face scrunched up as I tried to process it all.

Suddenly, I felt a poke on my cheek, and I looked up to see my mother trying to hold back her laughter. "You have that look," she teased. I furrowed my brows in confusion, and she reached her hand out, gently resting it against my cheek. It felt comforting, and I couldn't help but smile, momentarily forgetting all my questions.

I wanted this moment to last forever. "Hey, Mommy, you know I love you, right?" I asked.

"Yes, dear, and I love you even more," she replied. I let go of the flower crown and moved closer to my mother, wrapping my arms around her in a loving embrace. I closed my eyes as she hummed softly, returning the hug with warmth and affection.

Slowly, I opened my eyes and gazed up at the ceiling. I stretched my arms over my head and yawned, feeling a sense of contentment. Pushing myself up, I looked around the unfamiliar room. It looked less like a bunker and more like a prison cell. I got up, stretched, and went to push the door open, which let out a loud creak, echoing in the dimly lit halls. The place felt eerily empty and devoid of life. With nothing else to do, I decided to make my way up to the top deck.

As I reached the deck, I spotted the rest of the group. Jotaro and Kakyoin were either lying or sitting on some chairs, while Mr. Joestar and Avdol were engaged in conversation. I paused for a moment, placing my hand on the railing, taking in the vast expanse of the ocean. "I'm a long way from home," I mumbled to myself, sighing softly. I turned away and greeted the others with a faint, "Good morning."

"Ah, morning, Mrs. Celest," Avdol greeted me with a smile. I chuckled, putting my hands on my hips. "Please, Celest is just fine." I then noticed Mr. Joestar and wondered when he had changed his clothes.

Something felt off.

Suddenly, a distant scream caught my attention, and I turned to see one of the crew members grappling with a struggling child. I walked over, and Mr. Joestar followed. "Hey, I thought there wouldn't be anyone else on board except us!" Mr. Joestar exclaimed. The crew member explained, "Sorry, sir, we have a stowaway! This little brat was hiding down below in one of the compartments."

I looked at the child in disbelief. "But they're just a kid!" The child continued to kick and yell, threatening the crew member with colorful language. "I'll freaking break your balls!"

The kid's brashness makes me mentally sweat. One of the crew said, getting more and more irritated, "Tell it to the police, kid."

Moments later, the child's demeanor shifted as the mention of the police made them suddenly apologetic. I closed my eyes and sighed, irritated by the situation. It wasn't my battle to fight, but I couldn't just stand by either.

"Ah! Damn kid!" one of the members exclaimed when the child made a reckless move, biting the crew member's arm and leaping into the water.

"Hey!" I shouted after the child, rushing to the railing to peer into the water. "What do you think you're doing?! You won't make it to shore like this!"

The child's actions frustrated me. "No! He's in danger! This entire area is infested with nothing but sharks!" he warned, watching as a fin appeared in the water, following the child's path.

Without hesitation, I removed my jacket and threw it down before climbing onto the railing. "HEY, what are you doing?!" Mr. Joestar exclaimed, alarmed by my reckless decision. But I had already jumped into the water, holding my breath as I swam after the child. The shouts and screams of the others faded as I focused on catching up to the child.

I managed to grab hold of the child's leg, using it as leverage to hoist myself up for a breath of air. 'Bell, now would be a great time for some help here!' I mentally called out.

"Arra?" Bell responded.

The kid started to panic as the shark got closer. Bell grabbed the shark by the tail and swung it around before smashing her fist into its face as it fell back into the sea as I clutched to the kid. I called Bell again, concentrating on the kid, and sighed in relief.

"You're a real pain, you know?" I muttered as I pulled the child closer, intending to swim back to the boat. 'Something's not right here...' I paused, raising an eyebrow as I noticed the child's flushed face. 'Bingo,' I thought, realizing that the child was no boy. I reached up and removed the child's hat, revealing long hair that cascaded down and touched the water.

"So, you're a girl?" Her eyes widened in surprise as I commented. "How—"

"Simple, your eyes made it obvious!" She struggled to speak, and all I could manage was to shake my head. As we swam back towards the boat, I pulled her along. It required some work to get her to comply because she was so obstinate.

"Hey, watch out below you! It's not a shark, but something else!" someone shouted from above. As I struggled to keep the girl afloat, I felt a powerful force pulling us downward. The water was murky, and I couldn't make out what exactly had ensnared us. Panic set in as it became increasingly difficult to swim back up towards the surface.

Desperation washed over me as I frantically looked up, my vision clouded by the churning water. 'Shit, shit, shit—' I thought, struggling to break free from whatever had latched onto us. 'I could use a little help here?!' I pleaded, unable to see clearly. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, I glimpsed Kakyoin's Stand, Hierophant Green, approaching at a rapid pace. With swift precision, it reached down and firmly grabbed both me and the girl, pulling us up through the turbulent waters and back to the surface.

I could feel the tension in my chest release. With a final burst of effort, we breached the water's surface, and I gasped for air, desperately inhaling the precious oxygen that had been denied to me moments ago.

"What the hell is that?!" someone exclaimed as Hierophant Green pulled us up, but the extra weight made it challenging.

Star reached out to take hold of my other arm while Hierophant grabbed the one I was holding. They worked together to raise us out of the water. It grabbed Bell and wrapped its hands around her tail, which I felt. tugging at it continuously. ultimately ripping it off. I felt a tingle travel down my back, but it seemed like someone was dragging a knife down your back, causing me to scream out in anguish, only for a moment. Before the pain completely went away.

As we were pulled back onto the boat, the others looked at me with concern.

I let out a deep breath, coughing up water and struggling to regain my composure. "W-was that another Stand?" Avdol asked. I struggled to pick myself up, grabbing my jacket and glancing back at the girl. 'This girl couldn't be the Stand user, right?'
