( Part.3 Strength )

I took a moment to assess the situation, still trying to process the surreal events of the previous moments. It felt like a strange dream, yet I knew it was all too real. My gaze shifted to Kakyoin, and I couldn't help but shake my head slightly, silently questioning the reality of it all. "This... this can't be real, can it? Burning alive and then vanishing... it just doesn't make sense," I muttered to myself, my brows furrowing in confusion.

Suddenly, my attention was drawn to Kakyoin, who turned to me, breaking my train of thought. "Hey, look up," he said, his voice firm but concerned.

I furrowed my brows in confusion, and he continued, "No, I mean really look up!" He extended his arm, pointing toward the ceiling, prompting me to turn my gaze upward. What I saw sent a shiver down my spine.

The man who had been on the floor, engulfed in flames just moments ago, was now hanging from the ceiling. He clung to metal rods, his sinister smile fixated on us. My eyes widened in disbelief. How was this even possible?

I couldn't help but cross my arms in annoyance, observing the man. "This is just getting weirder by the second," I muttered under my breath.

The man, who introduced himself as Polnareff, laughed at my comment. I couldn't blame him; our predicament was beyond bizarre. I took a hesitant step forward, growing increasingly frustrated with the situation. "Hey, what the hell..." I began to protest, but he cut me off with a mocking round of applause.

"Oh, looks like someone's peeved," he taunted, his smirk widening. I glared at him but paused when he continued, "How the hell is he floating mid-air?!"

My heart raced as I took a step back, my eyes locked on the impossible sight before me. Polnareff urged me to look closely through my Stand's eyes. With a deep breath, I closed my eyes for a moment, clearing my head of doubt and confusion. When I opened them, the truth was undeniable.

Polnareff's Stand supported him from below, its presence almost surreal. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief, but the image remained unchanged. "No... I'm not seeing things. This is real," I muttered to myself, struggling to come to terms with the supernatural.

As we all stood there, a bit dumbfounded, Polnareff explained that the explosion earlier had only affected his Stand's armor, leaving him with minor injuries. He seemed strangely nonchalant about the whole affair. Avdol, undeterred by the bizarre events, moved forward, taking charge of the situation.

"If you don't mind, kindly explain what just happened," Avdol demanded, his voice steady.

Polnareff continued to gloat, "Well, the explosion earlier was not my Stand being blown up as you had originally planned or thought. The impact only damaged my Stand's armor. With it gone, I'm faster than ever."

The tension in the room escalated as Avdol and Polnareff exchanged words, both determined and ready for a fight. I couldn't help but sigh, growing increasingly weary of the conflict. I glanced at the others, realizing they were equally absorbed in the showdown.

I moved away from the confrontation, leaning against the wall, and closed my eyes for a moment, trying to clear my thoughts. But when I reopened them, I found myself in an entirely different place, surrounded by a horrific scene of mutilated bodies. The stench overwhelmed me, and I gagged, struggling to regain my composure.

My gaze landed on the familiar ape, which had somehow escaped and was now in the same nightmarish place as I was. Panic surged through me as I pushed myself away from it, a scream building in my throat. I kicked and squirmed, desperately trying to break free.

In the midst of my frantic struggle, I managed to bite the ape's hand, making it groan in pain. It flung me away, and I landed amidst a pile of lifeless bodies. The smell and sight were revolting, and I couldn't help but retch, spewing a mixture of water and fur onto the gruesome scene.
