Lily groaned rubbing her head and grabbing James' mug of coffee that was in his hand. "Hey! i was drinking that,"
Lily just shrugged before jumping up and sitting on the counter.
James huffed, turning back towards the coffee maker to pour some more. He looked out the window next to the cupboard where he was grabbing another cup.
"Reggie..? Regulus!" James bolted towards the front door, making Lily jump and almost spill coffee on herself in the process.
"Hm..?" Lily was lost. Confused on what he was so excited about and sprinting outside to a name she's only ever heard a billion times.
Lily turned her head to peek out the window James was just looking out a minute prior. There was a boy, with dark raven like hair. A few features reminding her of Sirius, such as his nose and eyes, sort of his mouth too. This kid had much darker eyes than Sirius though, as his were almost black, if they weren't already and Sirius' were more of a gray.
"James!" the curly fellow 'Regulus' grinned, Lily thought it was brighter than the sun.
"Reg," James smiled back, dimples forming deep craters in his soft chubby face.
James rapped his arm's around the shorter of the two, tangling his hand in the other's dark curls. Regulus hesitated at first but then slowly wrapped his arms around James' torso, burying his face into his chest.
"Did i just hear my little brother?" Sirius questioned, making Lily jump once again. "Will everyone stop doing that!"
"Did i?" He deadpanned again, pulling his AC/DC short sleeve over his head.
"Yes."
Sirius grinned wider than Lily has ever seen, or even thought was possible for the 'punk rock stone cold bitch' as he put it, Sirius Black.
Why is everyone so happy to see him? What's the big deal with him? He just looks like some kid, nothing special.. Lily though. She knew the thought might have been a bit rude but she really just didn't see what the whole fuse was for.
"Outside." Lily set down her coffee, hopping off of the counter, not making eye contact.
"Okay, thanks!" Sirius ran out of the house.
Lily heard 'Regulus! i missed you, you dork!' before shutting the window.

Lily and Remus had met Regulus by now. He seemed to be polite, but just as sarcastic as his brother.. maybe even more. Smart and funny, he was the type to be sarcastic all the time and never anything serious leaked from his lips. He was nice but also a bit, well, blunt. It wasn't that he was mean, he just really didn't give a single fuck, and if he did then you couldn't tell. His jokes were mean but the funny type of mean, where he would pick on you without crossing any lines. He was a good lad to he around.
"I don't want to seem rude nor nosey.. but as i am nosey i have to ask-" Regulus started.
"Where i got all my scars?" Remus knew.
"No, where you got all your perfect sweaters and every book in the entire world. Yeah, Sherlock, where'd you get the scars." Regulus chuckled, so did Remus.
"Surgery's i guess? Well.. some of them. Some from a dog." Remus shrugged.
"Yeah, no, sorry for asking." Regulus scratched at the bottom of his hair awkwardly.
"Eh, it's alright mate, you were just wondering."
Regulus gave him a sympathy smile that read "if you don't forgive me, i might start nervous crying."
If you ask how Sirius could tell what that look meant, you would never know. He doesn't know himself.
"anyway.." Sirius sighed, rubbing his hands together. "Whats the thing between you and Lily, prongs?"
James just stared at him. Oh if looks could kill, Sirius would be dead ten times.
"James?" Regulus and Lily spoke at the same time. They both sent each other nasty looks before turning their attention back to the curly one.
Oh, so they both don't like each other already? This is going to be funny.
"Yeah! Okay," James rolled his eyes and let out a deep sigh.
"There's not really anything going on between us Sirius?" Lily said.
"Really?"
"Really."
"Okay, yeah, sure." Sirius rolled his eyes at the stubborn girl. "What about that crush you have on him? What about the crush he has on you? It's kinda suffocating.. y'know, all the hebe jebes-"
"Is that a word?" Remus questioned, sitting on the arm of the chair Sirius had himself sprawled on.
Sirius shot him a short glare, "Yeah, okay, i'll go write it in the dictionary for you, love." Remus shook his head with a fond smile.
'Love'? wha- no- pshh..
Sirius blushed as his eyes met with his younger brother and his stupid smirk.
"Anyway," Sirius coughed.
"Mate i don't know what you want her to say?" James laughed.
"I like you." Lily blurted, face completely straight.
James whipped his head around, "Hm-?"
Regulus laughed under his breath, covering it up with a cough. "Sorry, throat, dry-" He said pointing at his neck.
Nobody bought it.
"Any-who," Remus scratched at the back of his neck.
"Uhm, so," Sirius played with the hem of his shirt.
Regulus tried holding in his laughter but he finally popped. "I, sorry, couldn't-" Regulus said through his laughing, which made everyone else laugh along.
Did Sirius ever mention how Regulus has a very contagious laugh? Well, now you know.
"Sorry, sorry.." Reggie said after awhile, catching his breath. "Go on."
"Uhm," James said again, looking up from the floor at Lily.
Lily got out of her chair and left without saying a thing.
"James," Sirius sighed, also getting up and following Lily outside.
