Later that day Remus still wasn't feeling the greatest. He kept by Lily almost the whole day, even when Sirius did small and big gestures to get him alone.

"So, I- uh, I called mum." James poked the conversation. They were bound to have it eventually.

"Mm, what'd Effie say?" Sirius asked without looking up from the cup in his hand. They were having a few drinks by the lake.

"Well, she want's us home." James paused, reading the situation. "Of course.. but, i told her a few more days."

"Thank you ,James," Lily gave him a peck on the lips.

"Always, Petal."

Regulus looked like he was about to fall asleep, blinking his eyes open every few minutes. Whenever he would lean to one side, he'd snap to the other.

Remus put a hand on his shoulder. "Reg? Hey, you need to head back?" He finally asked. Receiving a nod in return.

"Okay, i'll help you get there. I'm tired too, c'mon mate-" Remus pulled the other to his feet. "I'll see you guy's? I'm going to take Regulus back, likely head to bed after."

Sirius hopped up, going to the other side of his brother. "I'll come too," he forced out a yawn, and stretched his arms. "Sleepy."

"Smooth." James teased.

"Yeah, go go." Lily shooed them off.

As they walked back to Remus' cottage in silence, Remus felt the most uncomfortable he's ever felt. Which is strange for someone who's been hooked up to way too many machines, with way too many tubes shoved down his throat, for a kid his age. Odd.

"So.." Sirius prodded tentatively.

"So." Remus returned, more sharp than he intended.

"S..hh..ooo-" Regulus gurgled.

Remus snorted as Sirius jumped. "Bloody fuck, Reg, jesus."

Remus pushed the front door open, holding it open with his foot as him and Sirius struggled to get Regulus through the doorway.

"For such a small person," Sirius complained as Regulus elbowed him in the mouth, "you are taking up a lot of space."

"Mmphf."

"That's not a word." Remus groaned as he finally shoved him through the door. "Finally. God."

"Don't use hiss.. name in.. vain." Regulus scolded.

Sirius dropped his half of Regulus as he flung his head back cackling. "Oh- ohmygod.. you, you sound like mum! This is priceless!"

Remus shushed him, but he kept laughing louder. "Sirius. Sirius- shut up! My parents are-"

"Remus? Sirius.." Hope called as she waddled into the front room. Rubbing the back of her hand over her eyes, she glanced at Regulus before shaking her head. "Boys.."

Clicking his tongue, Remus smacked the back of Sirius' head. Hope took Regulus. "Drinking."

"And tired!" Sirius added as Hope cautioned Reg to the room he's staying in.

"You are miserable."

"I am enjoyable."

Remus shook his head, "not in the slightest."

Remus flew up, gasping for air, clutching his sheets as the world came crashing back down onto him. Sirius sound asleep next to him. Beautiful.
