Chapter 13? !TW!

TW: i feel the need to put a TW because this can be traumatic and triggering and i do not want to be the cause of that for any of you so.. be warned?? ill put something where it may get triggered at the start of it, okay? love you all:)

"Lilyy," James groaned. "c'monn.."

Lily had been perched on a medium sized rock, reading a book and blasting music through her earbuds.

"What're you even listening to?" James tried slipping the book from her hands for the tenth time the past hour. Lily held it out of reach, hand swatting at him.

"Ship in a Bottle." Remus stated, glancing up from where he was also, to Sirius' dislike, reading a book.

'Nerds!' Sirius whistled minutes before, throwing Regulus into the deep blue water. It was a hot day, so Lily decided to show the three whining boys that- yes, we have a lake.. pond thing.

"how'd you-"

"You're always listening to it." Remus deadpanned.

"It's a good song!" Lily argued, closing her book. As she got more distracted with telling Remus why it's a great song, James snatched her phone before hastily yanking the earbuds out and running away.

"I know you made me listen to it on repe-" Remus started, ignoring James stealing Lily's phone.

"Hey!" Lily cut him off, jumping up and chasing after the, surprisingly, fast James. "I swear to any god that will listen, i will kill you Potter!"

"Uh huh, can't kill me from back there though, can ya'?" James started blasting the song, still running away from the ecstatic red head.

Remus could hear the song from the other side of the lake. He threw his head back cackling.

"James Fleamont Potter!" Lily hissed, echoing around the lake, making Remus laugh harder and the two brothers to burst into a fit of laughter as well.

Regulus started humming along to the song as Lily came back, phone in hand, being following by a reasoning James.

"Oh, captain, let's make a deal-" Regulus sung to the music.

"Where we both say the things, that we both really feel." Remus continued.

Lily raised an eyebrow at him before she opened her mouth, "I feel scared and i'm starting to sink.."

"And i only sink deeper, the deeper i think!" The three sang together. Giggles spilling from them as she set her phone on the cooler, letting the song go on.

"What's this?" Sirius asked, drying his dripping hair with the towel. Oblivious to Remus' burning stare.

"a song, nitwit." Regulus deadpanned at his brother.

Hitting Regulus with the towel Sirius pushed his way to grab a water bottle. "Oh i'm sorry, the great Regulus the ninetieth. Please forgive me your highness!"

"Shut up," Lily groaned. Rapping her hands around the back of Sirius neck, she pulled him down and smacked a kiss right on his forehead. "Be happy you grump."

Sirius' face split into a huge lopsided grin, "anything for you, flower." He winked at that, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder, running towards the water.

"Put me the fucking hell right down on my two completely working feet, Black!" Lily started kicking and swatting at him but to no avail, he kept running. "Sirius please! Put me down you fucker!"

"Nope!"

"Sirius, whatever your middle name is, Black. Put me down right this actual instinct!" Lily started to beat her tight fist into his back, kicking at his leg again.
